(other times available by appointment) Counseling Philosophy
We believe that effective counseling embraces the integration of the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of personal, family and community life. The counselor guides the individual to wellness and wholeness by promoting physical health, emotional wel

lbeing, healthy relationships and spiritual maturity. We perform this function in a way that is clinically sound and informed by our Christian worldview

Values and Goals
Outreach: to provide an outreach into the community that integrates Christian truth and psychological understanding, meeting people where they are at in their faith journey;

Access: to be accessible to everyone in need who seeks counseling by reducing barriers of location, hours of service, ability to pay, scope of service, perceived stigma, and other potential barriers;

Excellence: to apply sound professional, organizational and business practices; and to be recognized as a premier counseling center

We are deeply grateful.
This past Friday, at our Vision Dinner, we were reminded again that the work of healing rarely makes headlines—but it quietly changes lives every day.
To everyone who joined us, prayed with us, served behind the scenes, and gave so generously—thank you. Your presence and partnership made the evening what it was.
Because of your support, we are continuing the mission of Emmaus Counseling Center: walking with individuals and families through anxiety, trauma, and brokenness toward hope, healing, and a renewed sense of life.
We’re especially thankful for the many businesses, churches, volunteers, and community members who helped make the evening possible.
We trust God for what He has already done—and for what is still ahead.
With gratitude,
Emmaus Counseling Center
