Good Samaritan Pharmacy and Health Services Good Samaritan Pharmacy is a 501c3 nonprofit providing no-cost medications and medical services to the uninsured, financially needy in the community

Good Samaritan Pharmacy Inc., formerly Community Pharmacy of Sarasota County Inc., opened in January of 2008 and dispenses free, specific routine medication to eligible residents in need from our on-site pharmacy on Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm (for Pre-Approved Clients Only). In addition, our volunteers assist residents in applying for free, long-term assistance for their expensive, brand-name medica

tions through manufacturer assistance programs. All of the services offered are free to eligible residents.

Good Sam Health Services is looking for dedicated volunteers who don't shy away from paperwork — because that paperwork changes lives. We're currently seeking:

📋 Licensed Pharmacists or Pharmacy Techs — Tuesdays 9AM–2:30PM or Wednesdays 5:30–8:30PM

🩺 Licensed Nurses — Wednesdays 5–8:30PM (~once/month)

☎️ Front Desk/Phones/Paperwork — Tuesdays 11:30AM–2:30PM or Mondays 12–4PM

🤝 Patient/Client Advocates — Mondays 12–4PM or Wednesdays 9AM–1PM

We’re honored to be the recipient of a $5,000 grant from the Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation after their 9th Annual Ride or Stride For a Better Community event on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Our Pharmacy Manger, Kelly Scolaro and Board Treasurer, Sandy Keith proudly accepted the award on behalf of Good Sam Health Services.

This generous funding will support our mission to provide free medication and medical services to uninsured, financially needy members of our community so as to positively affect their health and quality of life.
