๐…๐š๐ฏ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ž ๐๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐›๐ž๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ: Is the big red trucks and the brotherhood/sisterhood of our highly trained crew. Knowing that someone is alive or that their house is still standing because we were there is very rewarding.

๐…๐ฎ๐ง ๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ/๐’๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐€๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐ฒ: I am a beef farmer and also do custom tree planting.

Update. Our two young men just got back from the Flanders fire in the Brainerd lakes area. After a 14 hour shift, theyโ€™re enjoying some pancakes and sausage. Then they will enjoy a nap. Thanks fellas

๐…๐š๐ฏ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ž ๐๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐›๐ž๐ข๐ง๐  o๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ: Of course the sense of community and being there for people on there worst days. The comradery within the department its like a second family. But one of my favorite parts is the physical and mental strengths that comes with every call. Some calls you are pushing your body and mind to the limit in extreme temperatures or environments. You are doing hard work and pushing yourself. No call is the same so you need a good team with great communication and we have that!

๐…๐ฎ๐ง ๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐›๐›๐ข: When my pager goes off and itโ€™s just me and my son he yells "FIRE" and runs to the car where his grandma meets us at the hall.

Thank you Bobbi for your time, strength and ongoing dedication to the department. Your many hours of meetings, training, calls donโ€™t go unnoticed!
