🩷💛💙 We're building something new.
Wellness & Cosplay is excited to begin piloting our new Cosplay & Creativity Club, a 12-session afterschool program for teens ages 12–18.
The idea is pretty simple:
🎨 Make stuff. Learn stuff. Find your people.
Each session combines a hands-on creative project with a short, informal conversation about cosplay, creativity, fandom, and the skills that go into bringing characters to life.
Over the course of the program, participants will explore things like crafting, SFX makeup, props, wig styling, photography, cosplay on a budget, conventions, and more.
But C&C isn't only for kids who already cosplay.
No costume. No experience. No expensive supplies required.
If they love art, crafting, anime, comics, gaming, movies, characters—or simply enjoy making things—we want them to know there's a place for them here.
We're intentionally starting small, partnering with a local library to pilot the program with a limited group of young people. We'll use these first 12 sessions to learn what works, listen to our participants, and continue developing the curriculum.
And if it works?
We'd like to take it much further.
Our long-term goal is to develop Cosplay & Creativity Club into a program that Wellness & Cosplay can eventually help bring to libraries and communities beyond our own.
And for those of you who took a closer look at yesterday's 3 PM post...
Maybe this gives you a little more context. 👀
Because C&C isn't the only thing we've been working on.
Wellness & Cosplay is changing. Growing. And getting ready for its next chapter.
We're not quite ready to show you everything yet—but over the next few weeks, you're going to start seeing pieces of what we've been building.
Consider this the first one. 👀
For now, we're starting where we are:
One community. One library. One group of creative kids.
Let's see what we can build. 🩷💛💙
Wellness & Cosplay Where fandom meets wellness. Where you belong.
