Inner Peace Rising

Inner Peace Rising I teach kids that Skateboarding & movement can be the middle finger to stagnant growth. It works.

Confidence, creativity, resilience, communication, all through physical expression.

In awe is an understatement. Bennett LOVES skateboarding, but also knows that it’s extremely difficult to enter this lifestyle, and the fee is gonna be paying the skategods in a little flesh and comfort. This was one of those days.

However, he also got a feel for what you get in return. Confidence, self-esteem, knowing what you’re capable of, hearing other people at the park cheer for you BY NAME, and that overall feeling of, “I’m a badass that can do hard things.” LFG. 🔥

Oooowweeeeeee! $1,400 now in the CAF! Another $200 away from FOUR kids having access.

Huge thank you to the Cammarato family, Kristen Rush and her family, because both of them have believed in this from the absolute beginning, and were there the FIRST NIGHT i opened 🥹 I keep using these words humbled and grateful, because that’s what I feel inside. ❤️ S**t, I get so damn emotional. 🤦‍♂️

I’ll absolutely admit it, good ol’ Craigy kind of put the cart before the horse. I thought Inner Peace was bigger than it actually was when I started this fund, thinking people were going to line up outside the doors, when I haven’t had one single person yet reach out about the CAF😂

Joke’s on me 💀 But, the fund isn’t going anywhere. It’s gonna keep building until the day comes when people need it. And when that day comes, we’ll be ready. (Home alone reference, 🤷‍♂️ )

One kid at a time. 🛹❤️🤟🤙

Good morning fine folks!

Because I can’t accept insurance through Inner Peace yet (surprise, surprise 🤦‍♂️), your Community Access Fund is now up to $1,118. That means Inner Peace currently has 3 sponsored spots available for families who might not otherwise be able to afford this experience.

And here’s the funny part… I’ve spent the last few weeks asking the community for money, and y’all came through. Now I’m asking for shares. The money is sitting there waiting to be used!! Good lord, you’re so needy, Craig. 😂 Yes. Yes I am.

If your youth/family could benefit from skateboarding, getting outside, moving their body, and connecting with a mental health professional in a different way, fill out the form. I think I made it super easy 🤷‍♂️ 😂

Let’s get these spots filled and put this support where it belongs—with the kids. Form is in the comments!!!

Good evening ya’ll!

Before I post the full Community Access Fund update tomorrow at 3 PM, I really wanted to make sure the people who made this happen are recognized.

We’re sitting at $913. Holy s**t.

That’s enough to sponsor two youths for their first month of access to Inner Peace.

Good Gravy. As I type these names, each one means something significant to me, I promise you.

Thank you to Jessica Vollero, Jennifer Emm, Dana Messick, Trisha Gozzi, Patti Packard, Shana Gordon, Joanne Lyden, Laura DeStanislao, Kelly May, Debra Winters, Jessie Doubek from Never Better Board Company (solid follow on the gram, doing great things for skateboarding), Gary Kovack, David Peterson, Magdalena Adamus, Diane Less and her sister Evelyn, Nykia from The Lash Specialist (Badass local business in Warwick that rocks), Stephen Baker, and everyone else who’s shared a post, sent a message, or helped spread the word.

People giving their hard-earned money to give a kid an opportunity they might not otherwise have.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3 PM, I’ll post the full update, the application, and what’s next. Oooooo baby.

Tonight this post is about the people who stepped up for the kids and the community, so far.

Thank you. 🤘

Ok, the Community Access Fund starts today.

Current balance: $0.

The goal is simple: help more kids and families access rising when cost is the thing standing in the way due to multiple challenges.

If you’re a parent who thinks your child could benefit, but cost has been what’s holding you back, send me a message.

If you’re a business owner, community member, skateboarder, parent, or just someone who believes in helping kids and is fortunate enough financially….send me a message too.

I don’t have every detail figured out yet. I’m just starting the conversation and wanted to get this out there to the community 🤟🤙☠️🔥❤️

Not sure what’s possible, but I’m going to try.
