Keeping up with Asher Hayes Asher Hayes is 10 years old. He has 3rd degree burns on 20% of his body all on his legs. He was burned in an accident on Easter Sunday. He is such a miracle!

He is Baptist Health in Jackson MS. We are working to recover!

I posted a video of a cute moment in our day! Seeing him jumping on trampoline. It last 2 mins. After that came the screams, anxiety and the begging for no dressing changes or bath! He is so scared all the time! He is tired of it hurting and I can’t blame him! This SUCKS!

We survived our 3rd dr visit road trip this week! This Rana is EXHAUSTED!!! Mentally drained and physically tired! But WE DID IT! Today was better than yesterday we went to Opelousas so the memories aren’t so bad. Anxiety was much better. But dang if it isn’t a lot of road riding for us!!!

Asher’s appt today was a complete nightmare. He had full blown panic attacks. Fought them. They couldn’t change dressings he was terrified. It all started as soon as we got close to the hospital and got worse from there. They had to schedule him to come back next week and prescribed him Ativan for before appointment. After it was over he just kept saying he was sooo sorry. He didn’t mean to waste my time and money coming up here. He said it was a waste of time. I took the day off and he acted like this. Bless his heart. I just wish this would stop!!!!
