The first thing that happens is not therapy. 🧩

It is a greeting, and usually the same child every time, who has decided this part of the day belongs to them. Then a few minutes of play before anything else starts. Daniel Blank came out of retirement and the reason was simple. ABA was starting to get a bad name, and not because the science stopped working. A practice can call itself ABA and still get a child nowhere. The word on the door is not the thing that helps your kid. How it is actually run is.
