Don't be a fool, lay down your sword
Don't be a fool, you don't want to war with me

I know you think me passive, easy prey.
Don't be a fool, my silence is not submission.

Your words are harsh, laced with hate and dripping with venom.
Don't be a fool your words hold no sway.
Don't mistake my stillness as fear
Your words fail.
You raise your sword

Why'd you have to be a fool?

Kneeling she gave respect to the life lost in this meaningless war.

She rises
She raises her chin towards the sky.
She feels the warmth of the sun.
She feels the wind as it swirls lightly around her.
She hears the life of the forest and the birds in the air.

She takes a deep breath.
She's not alone

She falls to her knees, asking for forgiveness.
She feels her strength fading and the cold sensation of sorrow taking its place.
Tears begin gathering in her eyes.

She fights the sorrow, fights the tears.

She feels a warmth surrounding her and in her minds eye she hears
"It's ok, let go".

She let go, no longer able to hold it back, the pain the sorrow the loneliness. She cried until she had no more tears to shed.

the warmth never left her. It comforted her like a warm blanket. She felt safe.

Her breathing steadied.
Her mind became clearer.

She gave thanks, prayer and love.

she continued on her journey.
She knew who she was. She was love, life and beauty.
She was also death

She could create or destroy.
She chose creation and life don't be a fool, death will destroy you .
She is a warrior, war happens.
War is not her.

She stood her ground, protected her loved ones, and refused to back down.
They called her defiant, stubborn, prideful.
They accused her of being cold-hearted, ice water in her veins.
The problem child. The outcast. The black sheep.
My time, my submission, my energy, my knowledge, my capabilities — these were the only measures of my worth.
“No one will ever love such a disrespectful, ignorant girl.”
But the ignorance in that space was never mine.
A child instinctively knows the difference between defiance and protecting her family. She sees the masks. She sees the fakeness. The very adults the world calls “safe” and “trustworthy” are often the ones weaving webs of control, manipulation, and lies.
They aren’t after your life.
They are after your soul.
A soul is that unique, flowing energy — hope and light vibrating outward.
To me, Hope is Light.
Faith is trusting in that Light — bright, gentle, never burning, only humbling. A Light made of love, truth, and understanding.
They mock your sight, your emotions, your faith.
But Light is not the absence of pain.
The soul grows stronger in humility, respect, and hard-won knowledge.
Wisdom has no age.
It is earned through flames that expose and fillet the soul. Wisdom and mistakes walk hand in hand.
Losing myself in that relationship — then being betrayed — did not break me.
It changed me.
The pain is deep. My soul cries out as sorrow, grief, love, and memories crash over me.
Finding strength inside a twisted mess of thorns and razor wire is debilitating. Sleep vanishes. Food tastes like nothing. Tears fall without permission. Exhaustion swallows you whole.
Bloody, broken, and bruised, you crawl when you can no longer walk.
You let the tears fall. You let your soul scream.
You keep moving — one trembling foot in front of the other — even when your hands shake and your mind is chaos.
You have no map. You don’t know who you will become when you arrive.
All you know is this:
You will not quit.
You will not give up.
You are your own hero.
And one day, when you have rebuilt yourself, you will be untouchable.
Until then… one foot in front of the other.
The darkness will never have my soul, my faith, or my love.
The rainbow may be hidden behind storm clouds and crashing waves, but I know it is there.
So I keep walking.
The promise of Hope is enough.

The Magician of Illusions
No magic balm, no soothing art
could ease the ache within my heart.
Their good days were merely stage and gleam,
a selfish echo, a forgotten dream.
A true one feels no sway from others’ pain—
only the self that rules their day.
With clever hand and master’s sleight,
they weave pure darkness, cloaked in light.
They are the magicians of illusion’s spin,
drawing trust from deep within.
Their outward moods, a practiced, subtle lure,
conditioning the soul to bend, endure.
They fed on empathy, on my open plea,
on innocence that longed to be free.
They tore down walls I’d built for years,
then smiled as they drowned me in my fears.
A slow poison seeped, unseen, unheard—
a silent truth, a whispered word.
My mind, my heart, my soul began to drain,
a constant weariness, a hidden pain.
When even the body could not lie—
tiredness, gut-ache, a spirit hollowed dry—
clarity struck like sudden, piercing light,
shattering the spell, pulling me into the night.
I chose to get the hell away
before it was too late.

Death walked alongside her, looking deep into her eyes.
She felt Death’s cold touch brush her soul, sending shivers down her spine while Shadows danced around them.
Death laid her claim. She knew it wanted to take her.
Yet she fought — with fragile hope and stubborn faith — learning the hard lessons carved into her bones. She saw her life through Death’s eyes: sad, solemn, and full of truths she had long blinded herself to.
Awareness now surrounds her, choking her, stealing her breath. For the first time, she truly sees herself. She had lost her way so long ago. Surviving was all she knew, but the path of survival had become treacherous — dangerous to her heart, her mind, and her soul.
Death feasted until only bones remained, a brutal reminder of the pain she could no longer outrun. Still, she refused to feed it her soul. She slammed doors shut, shut herself down, anything to keep Death from claiming what little was left.
Her heart was gone.
Her dignity lay bare.
Her pride lay shattered into fractured pieces.
Her soul scattered and torn — held together only by denial and glue.
She prayed for mercy. She prayed for grace.
And still, Death walks slowly beside her, staring into her eyes, forcing her to acknowledge every truth she once refused to see.
