The Dino Den has been hard at work growing our very own plants! 🌱 Through watering, observing, and caring for them each day, the children are learning about responsibility, patience, and the life cycle of plants. Watching their excitement as tiny sprouts begin to grow has been such a special experience. We can’t wait to continue nurturing our little garden together! 🦕💚

We had an amazing first week in Pre-K as we got to know our new friends, explored our classroom, and began building our classroom community! The children spent time learning about one another, discovering all the exciting areas in our classroom, and practicing our new routines.

We also took advantage of the beautiful weather by spending plenty of time outdoors, where the water tables were a big hit! The children loved splashing, pouring, and exploring together while staying cool in the sunshine.

Inside the classroom, we started experimenting with color mixing and discovered how different colors can combine to create brand-new ones. It was so exciting to watch the children’s curiosity and creativity shine as they made their own colorful discoveries.

We are looking forward to many more fun adventures, friendships, and learning experiences in the weeks ahead! 💙💛❤️💚

As we wrap up the final weeks of Pre-K, our classroom has been full of excitement, learning, and so many special memories! 🌿🦁🐢🌊

The children have had so much fun exploring animals and their habitats through hands-on activities, sensory play, crafts, stories, and classroom discoveries. From deserts and savannas to rainforests and oceans, our little learners have been busy exploring the amazing world around them while building friendships, confidence, and independence along the way.

We have also been working hard preparing for our Preschool Graduation, and we are so proud of how much each child has grown this year! 🎓💛 Watching them get ready for this big milestone has been so special.

Next week we will begin transitioning into our summer program, and we are excited for all the new adventures, friendships, and fun that summer will bring! ☀️🌈

Over the last two weeks, our preschool friends have been exploring the amazing worlds of the desert and savanna habitats! 🌵🦒

Through hands-on crafts, sensory bins, stories, and play-based learning, the children have been discovering the different animals that live in these environments and how they survive in their habitats. From scooping and digging through “desert sand” to exploring grassy savanna sensory play, the kids have loved pretending, creating, and learning along the way!

We’ve talked about animals like lions, zebras, elephants, snakes, camels, and lizards while exploring what they eat, where they live, and how their habitats are different from one another. It has been so fun watching the children use their imaginations, ask questions, and make connections through play and exploration! 🐘☀️🐍

The Dino Den had a roaring good time celebrating Earth Day! 🌎🦖 The children explored ways to care for our planet through hands-on activities like planting seeds, sorting recyclables, and creating nature-inspired art. Tiny paleontologists dug into sensory bins filled with natural materials, discovering the importance of keeping our Earth clean and healthy for all living things—past and present! With lots of curiosity and teamwork, the Dino Den showed that even the smallest hands can make a big difference in protecting our planet.

In our classroom, the Forest Friends came together to celebrate Earth Day in the most meaningful way. As they sat side by side, carefully coloring a bright, beautiful Earth, they talked about the colors of the oceans, the land, and all the living things that call our planet home. Laughter and teamwork filled the space as they shared crayons and ideas, creating something special together.

Adding to the excitement, our class welcomed tiny live caterpillars! The children watched in wonder each day, observing how these little creatures eat, grow, and begin their incredible transformation. Through this hands-on experience, the Forest Friends are learning about the stages of life, patience, and the magic of nature—all while building friendships and a deeper love for the world around them. 🐛 🌍

Our Pre-K friends had such a special Earth Day today! 🦋💛 We created beautiful butterfly crowns and celebrated all of our hard work by releasing our butterflies and ladybugs. After watching them grow and change, it was so exciting to see them spread their wings and head off into the world!

We talked about being gentle, giving them space, and wondering where they might go next.
