Did you know your HSA or FSA funds can often be used to pay for pelvic health therapy?

If you’ve been putting off getting help because of the cost, this may make treatment more accessible than you realized.

Pelvic health therapy can help with:
✨ Bladder leaks or urgency
✨ Pelvic pain
✨ Pain with intimacy
✨ Pregnancy and postpartum recovery
✨ Bowel dysfunction
✨ Pelvic organ prolapse
✨ Fertility support
✨ And so much more.

Using your HSA/FSA allows you to invest pre-tax dollars in your health, making it easier to prioritize the care you deserve.

I currently see clients in Visalia at HerPath OT & Wellness and Hanford at Kindred Care Health & Wellness, and I’m accepting new patients.

Have questions about whether pelvic health therapy is right for you or whether you can use your HSA/FSA? Send me a DM or book a consultation—I’m happy to help.

PSA we need to support our local OBGYN providers. As most of us are aware, we are in a crisis in Tulare County. We do not have enough care providers to support our community. Lately it is all I see and hear about so I feel the need to take action and I encourage you to do the same. We need to support and protect the providers we have so we can continue to recruit more. Working in healthcare is hard, mentally, physically, emotionally, all of the above. I have reached out to Kaweah Health CEO and our Visalia Mayor about this issue. I hope you will too, please share!

Curious what tools we use for exercise in the clinic? I love to use simple things you may already have a home! So grab a ball, a yoga block, a band and a wall and join me in a few light exercises to improve your pelvic floor function!

Just wanted to take a quick minute to answer some questions about my new small group pelvic health sessions!
These sessions are not meant to replace 1:1 care but they are meant to increase access and community around pelvic health conditions!
In these sessions we will go over movement strategies, body mechanics, strengthening and have fun along the way! I am still open to the time of day these sessions will be offered. So please keep an eye out later today for the updated schedule! If there is a time you prefer, please reach out because if I get enough requests I will do my best to get it on the schedule! Thank you so much for being such a supportive community, I’m so excited to bring this new offering to you!

A new way to support your pelvic health is here!

I’m so excited to introduce Pelvic Health Small Group Sessions beginning this August!

These aren’t bootcamps or generic fitness classes. They’re therapist-led movement sessions designed to help you strengthen your body with a pelvic health focus.

What makes them different?
• Led by a pelvic health occupational therapist
• Just 3 participants per class for individualized coaching
• 45-minute focused sessions that fit into your busy schedule
• Only $50 per class

One of my biggest goals with these classes is to make pelvic health support more accessible.

I know that not everyone is able to commit to regular one-on-one therapy, whether it’s because of cost, time, or scheduling. If you’ve been interested in working on your pelvic health but haven’t been able to make individual sessions fit your life right now, this may be the perfect place to start.

You’ll receive expert instruction in a small, supportive environment while learning exercises and movement strategies that you can continue using at home.

These sessions are open to both current patients and the community and are a great option for anyone wanting to improve core strength, pelvic floor function, confidence with movement, or maintain the progress they’ve already made in therapy.

Wednesdays beginning in August
Only 3 participants per class, $50 per session

Because class size is intentionally small, spots are limited. I’d love to help you move with more confidence and make pelvic health care feel a little more accessible.

Reserve your spot through the link in my bio or send me a DM with any questions!

PSA! Kegel chairs are NOT pelvic health therapy! This is something I’m pretty passionate about because it is not individualized care and can often make symptoms worse. In my opinion, places that have these chairs are preying on a vulnerable population of people. We want a quick fix and I get that, but use of these chairs does not do your body justice. Pelvic health concerns are complex and your body deserves to be assessed at treated to get to the root of the problem. When leakage or pain happen most people jump to weakness as the cause, but often it is tight and ineffective muscles. We need to retrain those muscles in integrate them back into the system for lasting results that improve your quality of life! So please, consult with a qualified medical professional and have your muscles properly assessed before using the chair!

Oof this turned out to be kind of a long one! I got several questions on HOW I use these pelvic health foundations in practice from both potential clients to other providers so I wanted to share a mini case study on it! If you are a patient who has seen several providers and have not found relief, this could be helpful to you! If you are a provider and have some complex patients on your caseload, I hope this helps! If our basic needs aren’t met, we can’t be receptive to healing in a meaningful way. So often the most complex situations need very simple and intentional interventions in the beginning! Let me know what you think in the comments or feel free to send a message!
