SunnyDays Therapy strives to help children reach their maximum potential by using a variety of techniques and approaches in a fun and motivating learning environment that is unique to each individual. Our team is trained to develop optimal teaching methods for your child based on their personality and unique needs. Goal areas that are often targeted include self care skills such as dressing, tying shoes, brushing teeth, washing face, bathing/showering, combing hair, feeding, and a variety of other self help and grooming skills. Fine motor skills are also addressed, including developing strength and coordination in hands for grasp, writing, coloring, drawing, playing, and cutting. Gross motor skills often include jumping, running, hopping, crawling, rolling, climbing, catching and throwing, and riding a tricycle or bike. Sensory integration issues are also addressed, and sensory diets may be established for your child, based on their needs. Our team understands that each child and their family is unique. Each child is different, but our years of hands-on experience has provided us with the skills and resources needed to teach your child to function at his or her most optimal level.
