I think this is far truer than most of us realize.

We see our struggles, our doubts, and the moments we wish we'd handled differently. What we don't always see are the lives we've touched, the encouragement we've given, the comfort we've offered, or the difference we've made just by being ourselves.

Sometimes a kind word, a listening ear, or a simple act of compassion becomes a light in someone else's darkness, and we may never even know it.

If you could truly see all the ways you've impacted others, I wonder if you'd be a little gentler with yourself.

Being kind, compassionate, and supportive doesn't mean you have to be available to everyone at all times.

Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is say:

Boundaries aren't selfish. They're how we protect our peace, honor our needs, and avoid pouring from an empty cup.
