Long before Jess could explain it, she was drawn to birth — not with fear, but with deep respect. That early curiosity became a calling, and after her own difficult postpartum experience, she found her purpose: making sure no family ever feels alone or unprepared. Whatever your birth looks like, Jess meets you there with an intuitive, trauma-informed, judgment-free approach.
TaKara St. Clair — co-owner, birth doula, certified lactation counselor (CLC), childbirth educator
TaKara is a mom of four, proud LGBTQ+ community member, and passionate birth worker — draws on her own journey through hospital births, home births, and two surrogacies to ground her belief that women don’t need to be rescued, they need to be trusted. Her care is trauma-informed and fiercely inclusive, welcoming all families with a special passion for low-intervention home births. Her mission: help you look back on your birth with warmth and pride — because birth doesn’t just happen to you, birth is you.
Erica Bellew — postpartum doula
Erica’s passion for birth work began before she had kids of her own, training as a birth doula in 2020 and deepening her belief in the value of postpartum support after becoming a mother in 2023. Now a mom of two, she’s pursuing her Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certification. She’s drawn from her own breastfeeding challenges to help clients heal, nourish their bodies, and care for their mental well-being postpartum. Outside of work, Erica loves running, hiking, and backpacking outdoors with her husband, daughters, and fluffy cat.
