Taking care of your mental health isn't always easy, but it's something everyone deserves the time, space, and support to do.💚

As we recognize World Mental Health Day tomorrow, we're reminding everyone that you don't have to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for help.

Let's continue working toward a world where conversations about mental health are met with understanding, not judgment, and where asking for help is always encouraged.

If alcohol or drug use is becoming harder to manage, Renew Health + Recovery offers specialized treatment that can fit into college life. Care is delivered virtually or in person, allowing students to stay connected to classes, work, and everyday responsibilities while getting the support they need.

Students can reach out directly. Campus counseling centers, health services, and other college professionals can also refer students who need additional support.

If you’re a student wondering if it’s time to get help, or a campus professional looking for a trusted treatment resource, call 844-292-7372.

There isn’t one path to recovery because no two people experience recovery the same way.

Treatment should meet each person where they are, with care that can adapt to their individual needs, goals, and circumstances. That’s why Renew Health + Recovery offers a range of evidence-informed treatment options designed to make care more personal and provide the right level of support along the way.

There’s no single “right” way to recover.

For some, the journey may begin with residential treatment. For others, it may mean receiving therapy, medications, and recovery support while remaining at home. And as recovery evolves, the type of support someone needs may change, too.

As National Recovery Month comes to a close, we’re leaving you with this reminder: recovery is personal. What matters is finding the pathway and support that meet you where you are and help you keep moving forward.

Recovery looks different for everyone, and every path forward is worth celebrating.💙

Because the use of GLP-1 medications in substance use treatment is still relatively new, we know there are a lot of questions about how they work and the role they may play in recovery. We’re answering some of the most frequently asked questions to help break down what we know so far.

How can a GLP-1 help with substance use cravings?

Early research suggests GLP-1 medications may help reduce cravings by affecting the brain’s reward pathways, which play a role in both eating behaviors and substance use.

So far, the strongest evidence is around alcohol use disorder, but researchers are also studying their potential impact on ni****ne, opioids, co***ne, and other substances. Some patients taking GLP-1 medications have also reported fewer cravings and less interest in using substances.

There’s still more to learn, but the research continues to evolve, and we’ll continue sharing what we know along the way!
