This week, we explored the concept of being a “Bucket Filler,” a fun analogy we use to teach our kiddos about empathy, kindness, and how our actions affect others.

“Bucket filling” means doing things that make others feel happy, valued, and cared for, such as sharing, taking turns, listening, helping, and using gentle hands. Each time we show kindness, we help fill someone else’s “invisible bucket” with positive feelings! 💕

hi everyone! i'm Angeline, pediatric occupational therapist and owner of Little Buds 💐

a little about me for those who are new here..
✨no, these are not AI headshots lol thank you Aimee 📸
✨i graduated with my BS, MA, and OTD from USC! ✌️ I did a progressive degree 5-year program and added on my doctorate year at the end.
✨i've worked as a peds OT in private clinics in Santa Monica, Irvine, and now Claremont for the past 7 years 🚙
✨i'm passionate about social-emotional skill development, including play skills, social pragmatics, and emotional regulation. i started Little Buds to go beyond ;) what "typical", insurance-based services cover and target these skills through group classes for neurodivergent kiddos using an OT-based framework 🧠
✨i have advanced training in sensory-based and oral motor approaches to feeding, zones of regulation and social thinking curriculum, and handwriting without tears.
✨i have a sensory-seeking and curious 18-month-old daughter who has already taught me more about sensory processing and child development than any continuing education course 😅📚
