What an incredible first day of the Amazing Race! 🇯🇲🏁📸
We’re continuing to relive the amazing moments through photos—from getting a picture with our awesome pilot ✈️ to taking an unexpected detour for some golf and enjoying our very own VIP experience at Caddy Club Golf Simulator! ⛳️🏌️‍♀️

And then… we truly started immersing ourselves in the Jamaican experience! 🇯🇲 The reggae music, Caribbean vibes, infectious energy, and beautiful island spirit made every moment unforgettable. 🎶🌴☀️

Day 1 was packed with adventure, laughter, surprises, and memories we’ll be talking about for years to come! ❤️

🌎✈️ Amazing Race Week has officially begun! ✈️🌎
Our community kicked off our themed Amazing Race week by collecting our boarding passes and passports and getting ready for an adventure around the world! 🌍🛂

We were even lucky enough to hear a special “Welcome Aboard” speech from a Delta pilot himself! 👨‍✈️✈️ Then it was off to Jamaica 🇯🇲, where we cracked codes, put our teamwork to the test, and danced along to the sounds of reggae! 🎶💃🕺

What an incredible way to start our journey! We can’t wait to see where our Amazing Race adventure takes us next! 🌎🏁

There’s nothing quite like the sweet taste of nostalgia! 🥤🍦 Our residents at StoryPoint Walton enjoyed a delightful Soda Float Social filled with fizzy favorites, creamy ice cream, laughter, and wonderful memories. ❤️
It was a “float”-astic afternoon celebrating simple joys and the good old days together! Cheers to making new memories while reminiscing about the past. 🎉

☕️💬 Coffee, Conversation & a Little Wisdom!
During our coffee and conversation circle with our residents at StoryPoint Walton, we came across a question that got everyone talking, laughing, and reminiscing:

“What advice would you give the younger generation?” ❤️

The answers were priceless—and definitely had us laughing while taking notes! ✍️😂 From life lessons to little reminders about what really matters, our residents shared wisdom earned through years of experiences, memories, and stories.

There’s something pretty special about sitting down over a cup of coffee and learning from those who have lived a lot of life. ☕️❤️

We may have come for the coffee, but we left with some advice worth remembering!

Below are the answers we got today:

- Be true to your morals
- Love your neighbor
- Follow your heart and not your money
- Get a good education
- Live within your means
- Go above and beyond in all you do
- Save your money and spend less
- Enjoy every moment because life goes by fast
- Live by example
- Take time to find the right partner. Don't rush into marriage
- Pay attention to the Constitution and protect this democracy
- Follow what is going on in the rest of the world
- Go to the doctor
- Keep your checkbook balanced
- Don't go into debt
- You can't buy everything you want
- Don't try to outrun the police

What a wonderful Saturday morning! 🌻🧺 We had a great time taking some of our residents out to the local farmers market. It was so nice getting out, enjoying the fresh air, visiting with the community, and finding some good local goodies along the way! 🍎🥕🍞
We love making memories and enjoying these simple moments together. ❤️

Latasha goes above and beyond every single day she is in the building! 💖 She treats each of her residents like royalty, and her caring, compassionate spirit is consistently recognized and appreciated by those she serves.

She is dependable, always willing to lend a helping hand, and never hesitates to go the extra mile or take on whatever is needed. 🙌

Latasha is truly an incredible asset to our team and makes a positive difference every day. We are so grateful for all that she does! 👏💐

🏐🎉 A HUGE thank you to StoryPoint Union for having us for our first official volleyball tournament! What a time was had! 🙌🏐
We had so much fun, plenty of laughs, and a little friendly competition! 😄 We’re already looking forward to coming back for another round!

🥕🎨 A big thank you to Candace from Boone County Library for coming in and spending time with our residents creating beautiful watercolor carrots!
It was so much fun seeing everyone’s creativity and the unique take each person had on their artwork. We loved seeing all the colorful carrots come to life! 💕🖌️

🎉🎂 What a fun-filled day! 🎂🎉
We had such a wonderful time celebrating our sweet resident, Esther, on her birthday! 🥳💐 We enjoyed delicious cupcakes and ice cream while sharing lots of smiles and laughter. 🧁🍦❤️

Our day got even more special with live music from Mark, and everyone joined in to sing “Happy Birthday” to Esther! 🎶🎤🎈

We were also blessed to have a wonderful student from St. Timothy’s visit and pass out beautiful artwork to our Memory Care residents. 🎨💝 The smiles on everyone’s faces made the moment extra special!

It was a day filled with music, birthday treats, creativity, friendship, and lots of fun! We are so grateful for these special moments and the wonderful memories we continue to make together. 🥰✨
