In an effort to simplify my life, I have decided to move all Lake City Yoga & Dance content to my personal Instagram page.

I opened LCYD a little over a year ago, and in an attempt to keep things separate and professional, it seemed like a good idea at the time, to start this page. As I’ve learned, grown, and evolved within this year, and started to learn what I really want to do and where I want to go, I realize that I need “less” in my life and that separating “me” from my business is not what I need. I am my brand. And if I desire to teach mindfulness, happiness, peace, gratitude, etc., then managing less Instagram accounts feels like a very simple change to align my life a little better! I’m not calling it a rebrand. Im not calling it “shifting gear”. I’m calling it continuous growth and remembering! ✨

Yes, you will see my kids and my family and lots of personal things on my other page, but you’ll get even more yoga/dance/mindfulness content there as I free up space in my life and have time to post all in one place. Please go follow me at Courtney Brown

That’s a wrap on LCYD classes at AOD…for now. 😉

It’s been an honor and a privilege to grow as a teacher and a person in this amazing, supportive and safe space. I will be forever grateful for the memories that live in these walls and our hearts, and the lessons I will take with me as the journey continues in a new direction. It’s been a joy and an honor to teach a weekly yoga class at for almost a year now. I’ve met new people, made new friends, reacquainted with others and, I think, made a difference in some lives.
