Giving thanks for a good day. For last minute schedule adjustment that I was happy to make. For a “first” step that felt like a good enough beginning. For making a new recipe that took time and was tasty - that is not always the case when I get in the kitchen. For a quiet evening that felt good. For all these things and more…sleep well.

Giving thanks for a good day where some things didn’t go as planned and some things were pleasant surprises so it all evened out. For interesting bookclub discussions. For not freaking out because my watermelon isn’t as sweet as I would like but I will eat it anyway but I am definitely looking forward to the next one. For som introspective wonderings that made for an interesting bit of time. For all these things and more…sleep well.

Giving thanks for a good day and great worship experience. For great customer service and staying relatively dry while out and about in the sometimes pouring rain. For down time to just sit and chill (much needed). For the promise of a sweet watermelon. For all these things and more…sleep well.

Giving thanks for a good day. For getting some things done even as my sinuses were acting up. For some medicated relief from the sinus pain. For choosing to go to the jazz brunch even though a lot of me didn’t want to leave my house. For beautiful evening weather and for the rain clouds that passed right over us. For all these things and more…sleep well.

Giving thanks for a good day. For practicing making my partner look good in Improv. For feeding my inner nerd with greek mythology brought to the silver screen. For fun on the patio in beautiful weather. For all these things and more…sleep well.

My “Odyssey “ review

I enjoyed the movie. I didn’t come for the special effects, I came because I have always enjoyed all kinds of mythology- greek, roman, norse, Egyptian, etc. The different parts of the movie brought back pleasant memories from when I read the “Iliad and The Odyssey” way back in Junior High School. Would I recommend it - yes but that’s just my opinion.
