Didn’t pass the NPTE? This is for you.
I’ve been there—discouraged, questioning everything. I didn’t quit, and it changed everything.
That’s why I created the I Can’t to I Can Perseverance Award.
This year also includes the NPTE Final Frontier PT Mega Review Weekend (thank you, David).
Apply. Or send this to someone who needs it.
Your comeback is still in motion.

The journey to becoming a physical therapist is not always a straight line.

Some of the strongest clinicians you will ever meet had moments where they questioned if they belonged, if they were capable, or if they should keep going.

The “I Can’t to I Can” Perseverance Award was created for those moments.

This award supports physical therapy graduates preparing to take — or retake — the NPTE who need both encouragement and financial support to keep moving forward.

Because perseverance matters.
Because the profession needs resilient clinicians.
Because sometimes the difference between “I can’t” and “I can” is simply having someone believe you will.

Dr. Gabrielle Jones mentioned speaking to her ASU DPT class but after her passing, I didn’t recall until Dr. Jonathan Henderson extended the invitation as the new professor. Thank you Doc and thank you Alabama State University DPT class of 2026 for being engaging while learning practical tips of entrepreneurship.
