Beyond excited to welcome Emma Reed, LGPC to the Greenhouse Psychotherapy Team!!

Emma is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia (Maryland license pending). Before joining our team, Emma provided therapy to clients with eating disorders and related mental health concerns at a higher level of care treatment program in Maryland.

Her specialties include: eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, body image issues, helping clients explore their gender, s*xuality, and relationships to s*x and s*xuality. Emma is accepting referrals for adult and adolescent clients of all genders. She sees clients virtually and in-person at our office in DuPont Circle NW DC.

Grief shows up in our lives in so many subtle ways: mourning the picture in our heads of the way things should be, loved ones disappointing us, people shifting into minor roles in our lives when they used to be central figures - just to name a few.

We can only move on from something if we have honestly and fully grieved it. And grief often comes in stages, and takes time.
