Yesterday, our team came together from all three office locations for our annual staff retreat. 💛

We spent the day reflecting on our growth, celebrating how far we’ve come, and strengthening the connections that make our work possible. From somatic mindfulness and expressive arts activities to laughter, creativity, and plenty of playful moments, we were reminded of the importance of caring for ourselves and each other.

The work we do is meaningful, and so is taking time to nurture the community behind it. Feeling grateful for this incredible team and excited for what’s ahead. 💛

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At our practice, we believe everyone deserves to be seen, respected, and supported as their authentic self.

Pride is a celebration of identity, community, resilience, and belonging. It’s also a reminder of the importance of creating spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals feel safe, affirmed, and valued.

This month and every month, we are committed to fostering an environment of inclusion, compassion, and acceptance for all.

As the school year winds down, many kids are running on empty.

What can look like defiance, laziness, or a “bad attitude” may actually be end-of-year burnout. After months of academic demands, social challenges, transitions, and busy schedules, children’s coping resources can become stretched thin.

Signs of burnout can include:
✨ Increased irritability or emotional outbursts
✨ More frequent meltdowns or tears
✨ Difficulty focusing or completing tasks
✨ Increased fatigue
✨ More conflict at home
✨ Wanting extra downtime or alone time

Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with them?” try asking, “What might they need right now?”

As summer approaches, prioritize rest, connection, play, and realistic expectations. Sometimes the most productive thing a child can do is recover.

What signs of end-of-year burnout have you noticed in your child? ⬇️

For some, this day is joyful. For others, it can be complicated, heavy, or tender. However you experience it, your feelings are valid.

Mother’s Day can hold love, gratitude, grief, longing, healing, or a mix of many emotions at once. Whether you are celebrating, remembering, struggling, or simply getting through the day, you do not have to fit your feelings into one box.

Today, may you give yourself the same compassion and care you so often give to others. 💗

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Mental health is not separate from overall health — it influences how we think, feel, relate to others, and navigate daily life.

Across the lifespan, mental health can be shaped by stress, environment, relationships, sleep, and physical wellbeing. And like physical health, it benefits from attention, support, and care.

This month, we’ll be sharing resources, education, and practical tools to support mental health for children, teens, adults, and families.
