Are you ignoring your body's signals? 🤔

It's time to tune in! Our bodies are incredibly intuitive, yet many of us have been conditioned to dismiss what they tell us.

When you feel something in your gut, that's your enteric nervous system speaking. It's not just a feeling; it's your body communicating with you.

Ladies, if something feels off or goes against your core instincts, don’t hesitate! Seek another opinion and find someone who truly listens. Your intuition is powerful—trust it! 💪✨

Ever wonder why women seem to have mood swings? 🤔

Drop a comment if you've felt this!

Many people overlook the biological and physiological changes women experience every month. From regular cycles to perimenopause, these shifts are real and impactful.

It's not just about being "hormonal" or moody. Imagine having fluctuating hormones every month! Men don’t experience this same cycle, and it affects how women feel and think.

And let’s not forget about pregnancy and menopause. Our brains and bodies are constantly shifting, leading to real challenges like brain fog when estrogen levels drop.

Understanding these changes is crucial for empathy and support. Let’s break the stigma and start a conversation about women’s health! 💪

You are not failing.

Your body is following the instructions it has been given.

For years, women have been told to eat less, exercise more, and blame themselves when it doesn't work.

But if blood sugar is unstable, stress hormones are elevated, your gut isn't functioning well, or there's something deeper happening beneath the surface, more willpower isn't the answer.

This is the exact 8-step framework I use with my patients because healing has an order.

Not because it's trendy.

Because it's physiology.

If you've tried everything and you're still stuck, you may not be missing motivation.

You may be missing the right step.

Ever feel like no one truly understands the complexities of health? 🤔

Drop a comment if you’ve felt this!

Janeisha says "When I met Dr. Jasel, I was blown away. She gets it! There aren’t many who truly understand the nuances of health and wellness, especially for women facing hormonal imbalances."

Even as a provider, I’m constantly learning. It’s not just about access to treatments like GLPs; it’s about understanding their impact. Just because you can get something doesn’t mean it’s the right fit for you.

Health is so much more than just numbers on a scale. It’s about holistic well-being and finding what truly works for your body.

Let’s keep the conversation going! What’s your experience with health treatments? 💬

Fibroids affect millions of women, but so many of us are only told how to manage the symptoms, not why they're happening.

If you've been dealing with heavy periods, pelvic pain, bloating, or you've been told your only options are birth control or surgery, I want you to know there's a bigger conversation worth having.

Functional medicine looks at the whole picture.

Your hormones. Your gut. Inflammation. Blood sugar.

Because your body doesn't work in isolated systems.

This week's article breaks down what fibroids are, why they grow, and the nutrition and lifestyle strategies I use to support women alongside their medical care.

Comment "FIBROIDS" and we'll send you the article.

Are you aware of the crucial role of hormone balance in women's health? 🤔

It's not just about estrogen and progesterone anymore. Research shows that the balance of androgenic hormones like testosterone and DHEA is just as important.

For too long, the focus has been on numbers and ranges, but what about how women actually feel?

As a women's health researcher, I’m thrilled to see progress, but it’s alarming how long women have had to advocate for themselves just to get the right research done.

We still have a long way to go, but understanding the full picture of hormone health is a step in the right direction.

What are your thoughts on this? Have you experienced challenges in getting the right support for your hormonal health? Let's discuss!
