What’s the difference between a psychiatrist and a therapist?

While both play an important role in mental health care, psychiatrists are medical professionals who consider the biological aspects of mental health. They can diagnose, prescribe medication when appropriate, and also provide therapy.

In this reel, Dr. Amarachi Nwaije, Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatrist, explains how psychiatrists support patients and why treatment is never one-size-fits-all.

Dr. Amarachi is currently accepting new patients. Visit the link in our bio to learn more or schedule an appointment.

August is Grief Awareness Month💙

Grief is a deeply personal experience, and no two journeys look the same. It can follow the loss of a loved one, but it can also accompany major life changes, relationship endings, infertility, miscarriage, chronic illness, or other significant transitions.

Wherever you are in your journey, know that your feelings are valid, and you don't have to carry them alone.

If you or someone you love is struggling with grief, our team is here to provide support.

Breastfeeding is often described as natural, but that doesn't mean it always comes naturally. Every parent's experience is different, and challenges along the way are more common than people realize.

This week is an opportunity to recognize the importance of supporting families, not only with breastfeeding, but with their mental and emotional well-being throughout the postpartum journey.

Whether you're breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding, or navigating unexpected changes in your plans, you deserve care, compassion, and support.
