This year’s monthly reflections look a little different for me.

We all have more than enough to despair about, so it’s time for some ✨ glimmers ✨

What’s a glimmer? Think, the opposite of a trigger.

A glimmer is something that helps you feel glad you’re here. A moment that gives you a flicker of hope. Someone that lets the light in. A precious bit of calm. Glimmers don’t make the bad stuff go away, but they remind us of the good that exists.

I want this page to be a place you can come for a reprieve. A little bit of encouragement, or some calm amidst the chaos.

In that spirit, here were some of my glimmers this month.

Is it sunny and 85° or 32° and snowing? We’ve had both in the last two days and that’s that on spring in the DMV.

Here is your reminder to find internal calm despite external circumstances.

The steadying breath. A peaceful morning by the ocean.

Take a moment to listen. Find the sound of the waves on the shore through the noises of the cars driving by and the planes flying over head. Search for that sound, that anchor. Steady yourself and move forward 🤍
