There's still time to join us as we explore the inner cues and signals that help us sense when it's time to move and act, soften and flow, open to new possibilities, or settle and rest.

We begin this week:
Thursdays at Noon CT or Sundays at 7:00 PM CT
Classes are recorded for registered participants.

Listening begins in the smallest moments -- in the pause between one activity and the next, in the feeling of the feet on the ground, or in the quiet that follows a busy conversation.

As we listen in these ordinary moments, we may begin to notice what helps you settle, what gives you a bit more space, and what helps you feel restored enough to face the next part of the day.

This marks the beginning of a more trustworthy relationship with our bodies: rather than forcing ourselves, we learn how to tune in and listen for what enables us to move with greater grace and ease.

As you move through your day, take a moment now and then to notice what gives you a little more room. What helps you to settle? What needs your attention today?

What's been on my mind these days? Pacing that sustains us.

I'm writing from our front porch today. Birdsong blends with the traffic, while the north-country wind bell we bought on our honeymoon still rings after all these years.

It's moments like this, when everything slows down, that I feel more awake to the life around me and to a quieter inner rhythm. The wind, the light, and the grass still damp from last night's rain help me listen for a pace that sustains me.

I’ve been reflecting lately on how our bodies respond to the changes in season: the longer daylight, warmer days, the rhythm of growth, and the peaceful beauty of the night sky. Something inside us shifts with them.

I've also been holding the honest places where summer's brightness meets what is tender or tired inside us.

For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, your body may be listening to winter now. The invitation remains the same: how is this season asking you to nourish yourself?

Here in summer, I notice this in my own body: more light, warmth, and time outside change the way I sleep, move, feel, and spend my energy. Summer often invites me outward, but I still have to listen to what my body is truly ready for.

My body thrives on light.

Morning light is one of the ways the body finds its rhythm. It helps us wake, orient, and move into the day.

When it’s warm enough, I sometimes stand outside in the morning, facing the sun with my eyes closed for five minutes. I don’t look directly at the sun; I simply let the warmth and light help me welcome the day.

It’s a small practice, but I truly feel the difference. Morning light supports the body’s internal clock - the rhythm of waking and sleeping - and helps me feel more grounded in the day. It also feels nourishing in a way that’s hard to explain.

The garden, the trees, the water, the sky, and longer evenings all invite us to engage differently with the season. There’s more color, more movement, more sound and life around us. Something in the body naturally wants to respond.

More light does not equal more capacity. Longer days still need an ending.

I'm learning to listen for that difference in my own body. This is where Regenerative Somatics feels very real to me.

Some days, the light encourages more movement. Other days, my body needs shade, quiet, hydration, or an earlier night. Some days, summer feels open and beautiful. Other days, it may bring fatigue, grief, loneliness, or simply a need to move more slowly.

All of this belongs to the season we are in.

There’s a wonderful feeling that comes when what we love helps us grow.

We live on a corner lot bordered by a busy street, with a large stone garden that needs steady summer tending. If my husband and I don’t give it time each day, it quickly becomes sparse in some places and overgrown in others.

As summer deepens, the garden asks more of us. And yet, it gives so much back.

A garden requires relationship. Growth does too. It asks for attention, patience, and the willingness to keep showing up.

As we tend it, people walking by often stop to talk, admire a flower, share a memory, or simply take in the colors. Tiny children, older neighbors, and people we may never see again pause there for a moment. Something in the garden seems to invite the heart to open.

In the garden, it’s easy to see what needs tending, what needs clearing, what needs nourishment, and what is flourishing.

It reminds me that our growth as human beings is also something we live in relationship with. When we tend ourselves and one another with care, something in us begins to flourish.

There’s a wonderful feeling that comes when what we love helps us grow. I hope this summer offers you many such moments. If it does, I’d love to hear about them.

We have been quietly working on a deeply rejuvenating new class. Yet couldn't let this day celebrating love pass without saying hello and sharing a few tips for a regenerative Valentine's Day:

❤️ Nourishing Self-Care

Choose at least one practice that truly restores you, such as a quiet walk, a warm bath, or a simple, grounding meal.

❤️ Calm Nervous System

Make space for practices that invite ease, like slower breathing, placing your hand over your heart, or spending a few minutes in stillness.

❤️ Honest Self-Love

Speaking to yourself with the same kindness you offer to others. Notice where you may need forgiveness or gentler expectations.

❤️ Widened Circle of Love

Remember your friends, family, community, and the beings who share your life. Reach out in one small, genuine way to let them know you care.

❤️ Mindful Connection

Bring your full attention to at least one conversation, Lsten more deeply and express specific appreciation for the other person.

❤️Quiet Gratitude and Reflection

Pause to reflect on what sustains you, what has grown within you over the past year, and what kind of love you would like to nurture moving forward.

May this Valentine’s Day be one small turning toward the kind of love that quietly restores you, from the inside out.

Love and Light,
Candice and Joe
