COVID-19 lead to an outpouring of public appreciation for nurse. That has since diminished. Nurses are the backbone of the health care system. We are overworked and understaffed. Still we continue to care for patients despite these conditions. A sense of burnout has become more common among nurses. Maybe this is our time. There is power in unity.

The goal and focus of the Million Nurse March:

Million Nurse March: Our Mission
Our goal and focus is the unification of every nurse across every healthcare setting to produce significant reform to our healthcare system.

Our Main Focus:
* Safe staffing ratios for all healthcare workers nationally

* Real protection/follow-through on a Federal & State level for Violence against healthcare workers.

*Fair and realistic wages; including, standing against any proposed cap to nursing pay.

As Covid surges again, nurses remain at the forefront of the crisis, putting our physical and mental health at risk. When our work is focused on caring for someone else, it's important to remember to look after ourselves. That includes recognizing how the pandemic might be affecting our physical and mental health.
Regular physical activity and exercise can bring both short and long-term benefits for symptoms of both depression and anxiety.
Find physical activities that you enjoy and to share your experience with others. I do all the time. Now many of my coworker consistently exercise.
For me it has been through Orangetheory Fitness] and running 5-6 times a week. So find your passion.
Things feel out of control right now. We all feel it. Remember we all can find the time to be physically active and start exercising! Our health is just as important as the people we care for.
Stay safe! ❤️TheREALNurseLife Orangetheory Fitness] keeping nurses healthy since 2010
