Meet Darren

Darren says his favorite part of living at The Terrace is making new friends and feeling like part of a family.

He’s especially thankful for Danene, (our Activity Director) who brightens his days by always being easy to talk to. Along with the support of our therapy team, Darren is continuing to work toward his goals.

When asked to describe The Terrace in one word, his answer was simple: “Awesome.” ❤️

Our group therapy sessions give residents an opportunity to come together, share experiences, encourage one another, and work toward their individual goals in a welcoming environment. There is something powerful about knowing you’re not alone in your journey.

Meet Lulu!

Lulu has been in recruiting and retention for three years, helping attract compassionate team members to The Terrace while supporting and encouraging employees to build long, rewarding careers. Inspired by her parents, who both worked in healthcare, she loves being a source of support for our residents and finds it especially rewarding to watch them grow stronger, regain their confidence, and progress throughout their journey. She believes something as simple as taking the time to talk with a resident can brighten their day. What makes The Terrace such a special place to work, according to Lulu, is the people. With so many diverse backgrounds and experiences, she describes it as a melting pot where everyone can learn from different perspectives.

Meet Robert, one of the incredible residents at The Terrace! ❤️

When Robert arrived, he had been wheelchair-bound for 17 months and needed help with everyday tasks like showering and using the restroom. Today, he’s walking again and enjoying life thanks to his determination and the support of our amazing team.

“The CNAs always put me first with a smile. The therapy team is awesome—if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be walking today.”

Robert chose The Terrace because his mother had such a wonderful experience here. Now he describes The Terrace in one word: Family.

From daily activities and outings with friends to sharing meals with loved ones, Robert says The Terrace truly feels like home.

“This is a great place with good people who care about you. They’re not just your caregivers—they become your friends.”

We’re honored to be part of Robert’s journey and celebrate every step he’s taken toward independence. 💙

Our residents celebrated Independence Day in style during our very first Fourth of July parade! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 It was a wonderful day filled with patriotic spirit, smiles, laughter, and community. Thank you to everyone who helped make our first parade such a special and memorable celebration.

Meet Tricia – The Heart Behind Our Team ❤️ For the past seven years, Tricia has been an important part of The Terrace. As our Human Resources Director, she helps create a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and appreciated through recognition, team activities, and incentives. Inspired by the dedication of healthcare workers, Tricia believes it’s important to remind them that their work truly makes a difference. Her favorite part of working at The Terrace is getting to know residents and hearing their unique life stories. “When people first come to our facility, they’re patients. When they leave, they’re friends.” Through daily conversations, shared laughs, and thoughtful gestures, she has built meaningful connections that make The Terrace feel like family. According to Tricia, what makes The Terrace special is the people—leaders and team members who support one another and are committed to making a difference. ❤️
