If you’ve been told you need lip filler every year, you’ve been sold a syringe not a treatment plan.

1. Filler lasts so much longer than what big pharma tells us. Research shows that filler remains in the tissue for years after it’s been placed!

2. To tell someone that they need to come back in year after year is not medicine. It’s retail. The lip needs to be assessed prior to just saying “see you in a year for more”.

3. If you’re choosing to BUILD a lip, this puts you in a different category. Building can be done slowly over the course of a couple months, but then after maintenance is based on YOUR individual needs.

4. This constant filling year over year is how you easily develop migration into surrounding tissue. The lip compartment can only handle so much volume! Overfilling is the best way to get an undesirable outcome.

This beautiful patient was seen 2 years after her initial filler placement. First photo showing before, second before her 2nd syringe, and third immediately after. She still has good volume in the lip after TWO YEARS. But decided she wanted to build a bit more volume.
