This CNA Week, we’re celebrating some of the incredible people who make Heritage Village of Waterville feel like home every single day.

From early mornings to late evenings, our STNAs are often the first to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a familiar smile. Their kindness, patience, and dedication make a difference in the lives of our residents and families every day.

This week, we were excited to treat our team to travel mugs as a small thank-you for all they do. To Alysa, Tammy, April, Pam, Debra, Jessica, and every member of our STNAs team, thank you for the compassion, comfort, and care you bring to our community. We appreciate you not just this week, but all year long. 💛

As part of STNA Week, a huge thank you to Julie and the team at Heartland Hospice for stopping by and treating our staff to a Bubble Lemonade Bar!

Small acts of kindness like this go a long way, and we’re grateful for the support and appreciation shown to the dedicated caregivers who make a difference every day. Thank you for helping us celebrate our team and all they do for our residents and families.

Recovery looks different for every resident, but one thing remains the same: having the right team by your side can make all the difference.

Our Director of Therapy Howie LaCourse, PTA, works one-on-one with resident Robert Avery as he focuses on building strength and maintaining his progress. Behind every therapy session is a dedicated team committed to helping residents reach their individual goals.

Our therapy department includes skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapists who work closely with residents each day. Whether helping short-term residents recover and return home or supporting long-term residents in maintaining their independence and abilities, their focus is always on providing the highest level of care possible.

We’re proud of the work our therapy team does every day and grateful for the positive impact they have on the lives of our residents.

What a wonderful afternoon at our Spring Fling! 🌷🎶

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon filled with music, laughter, raffles, great conversations, and community. Events like these are always a special reminder of how many incredible people come together to support our residents and families.

We are so grateful to our partners at SouthernCare Services for helping make the day possible, and to CODA - Classic Rock for providing an amazing performance that had everyone smiling and enjoying the afternoon.

We’d also like to thank Brain Bright Therapy and A Charming Chance Healthcare LLC for joining us and sharing information about the valuable services they provide in our community.

A special congratulations to our raffle winners, Sue Welch and Lois Pfifer! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and making new connections along the way. It was truly a beautiful day at Heritage Village of Waterville.

Happy National Donut Day! 🍩🖊️

Our team celebrated with a fun twist this year by handing out colorful donut pens throughout the building. It was a simple way to bring a few extra smiles to the day and show appreciation for the incredible staff who care for our residents each day.

Our team was treated to soothing, fragranced eye masks as a small thank you for all they do.💛 From our front office to kitchen, clinical, therapy, and every department in between, we are so grateful for the care and dedication our team brings each day.

Our Paint & Sip started with a power outage, strong winds, and a quick change of plans. Instead of painting outside, everyone gathered in the brightest spot we could find and made the most of the afternoon together.

A special thank you to artist Lori Lawton for guiding our residents and guests step-by-step as they created beautiful dragonfly paintings. Between the laughter, creativity, refreshments, and a little improvisation, it turned into a wonderful afternoon filled with good company and plenty of fun.

Bingo day is always a favorite around here! 🎉

Residents enjoyed a fun afternoon of friendly competition, laughter, and a little luck along the way. Whether it was calling out “Bingo!” or cheering on friends, everyone had a great time together.

Residents gathered together to recognize another month of birthdays with good company, sweet treats, and plenty of smiles along the way. Celebrations like these are a wonderful reminder of the friendships and sense of community that make Heritage Village feel like home.
