October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and our staff came together to spread a message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion!

Please join us in congratulating Kenny Bowden from our Ware Day Services team on being selected as our September STARLET Winner! 💙💚

Kenny was nominated for his Acts of Superior Work Ethic, and his kindness recently made a difference in our community!

When a community member's car broke down near the college, Kenny didn't hesitate to stop and lend a helping hand. Thanks to his willingness to go above and beyond, he was able to get her car running again! 🚗👏

The community member was so appreciative of Kenny's kindness that she reached out to Unison just to share how much his help meant to her!

WOW! What an AMAZING turnout for our Coffee Child & Adolescent Superhero Trunk or Treat this past Friday! 🎃🦸‍♀️

From the creative trunks and awesome costumes to the games, giveaways, laughter, and smiling faces, this event was a HUGE SUCCESS! Seeing our community come together to create such a fun and memorable evening for children and families is what it's all about! 💙

🌟 A SUPER-SIZED THANK YOU to our incredible Coffee Child & Adolescent team! These staff members worked SO hard behind the scenes to plan, organize, and bring this event to life, and let us just say… THEY DID OUTSTANDING! 👏🎉

Join us in celebrating 5 years of Faithful Service with Callie Smith. Callie began her career with Unison in 2021 as a Client Support Specialist II at the Peachtree Group Home and transitioned in 2022 to a part‑time Client Support Aid, continuing her dedicated work with the Peachtree team. In this role, she supports our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) clients by meeting their daily needs, fostering community integration, and helping them work toward their individual goals. Callie is known for her loyalty, strong work ethic, and genuine commitment to those she serves. She has found a meaningful balance between motherhood and her responsibilities as a full‑time house parent, becoming a dependable and valued asset to both her team and our clients. She is devoted to the success of our clients. Thank you, Callie, for your dedication to your important role in helping us achieve our mission! 💚🤝

Join us in celebrating 5 years of Faithful Service with Natalie Yarbrough. Natalie began her career with Unison in 2021 as an Administrative Support II in our Access Unit where she assisted individuals in initiating services. In 2023, she transitioned to an Administrative Support role with our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) where she continues to serve today. Natalie plays an essential role in the daily operations of the CSU, ensuring supplies are available, discharge charts are completed and scanned into the electronic health record, insurance verifications are processed, and countless administrative tasks are handled with accuracy and professionalism. She is always willing to step in and assist wherever needed, demonstrating teamwork, dependability, and a commitment to supporting both staff and clients. Her behind-the-scenes efforts help keep our unit running smoothly each day. Thank you, Natalie, for your dedication to your important role in helping us achieve our mission! 💚
