I made you something. 🥹🤍

If you’ve ever reread a text 14 times, replayed a conversation in your head, asked three people what they think, or convinced yourself that if you just think about it one more time you’ll finally feel certain…

This is for you.

I created the 5-Minute Overthinking RESET — a completely FREE one-page tool to use when you notice yourself getting pulled into an overthinking spiral.

It walks you through how to:

🧠 Recognize when you’re stuck in the loop
🔎 Separate what you actually know from what you’re assuming
⏸️ Sit with uncertainty without immediately checking, fixing, or asking for reassurance
➡️ Choose a different response
🤍 Trust yourself to handle what comes next

Because apparently telling ourselves “just stop overthinking” hasn’t been particularly effective. 😂

You can download it completely free here:

http://carolinamentalhealthpllc.com/free-reset

Save it to your phone, print it out, or keep it somewhere you can find it the next time your brain decides something needs to be solved RIGHT NOW.

And yes… there may be something bigger coming for my fellow overthinkers soon. 👀🤍

I’m now accepting inquiries for LCSWA clinical supervision in North Carolina through Carolina Mental Health, PLLC.

My goal with supervision is for it to be more than checking off hours toward licensure. I want it to be a space where you can bring the complicated cases, the “I have absolutely no idea what I’m supposed to do with this” moments, questions about ethics and boundaries, clinical decision-making, documentation, professional identity, and all the other things that come with becoming more confident in your work.

My supervision style is supportive, conversational, practical, and direct when needed. We’ll talk through the why behind clinical decisions, not just what you’re “supposed” to do.

Individual supervision: $100/60 minutes
Group supervision: $50/person/60 minutes
Free 15-minute consultation

If you’re an LCSWA looking for a supervisor or you know someone who is, feel free to message me or check out the Clinical Supervision page on the Carolina Mental Health website. 🤍

Looking for a therapist in North Carolina? 💻

I’m currently accepting new clients for virtual therapy throughout the state.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, trauma, relationship patterns, boundaries, people-pleasing, self-esteem, and those seasons of life where you know something needs to change, you’re just not quite sure what that looks like yet.

Therapy with me is conversational, collaborative, and practical. I’m here to listen and support you, but I’m also going to ask questions, help you notice patterns, offer different perspectives, and give you tools you can actually use outside of our sessions. And yes, there’s usually room for humor too. 😂

Sometimes it’s not the relationship you’re holding onto.

It’s the version of them you met in the beginning.
The version who shows up after the fight.
The version who apologizes, makes promises, and suddenly gives you everything you’ve been asking for.

And when that version keeps showing up just often enough, it can make you believe this time things will really be different.

Sometimes we stay because we’re happy.

But sometimes we stay because we’re hopeful.

And hope can keep you somewhere much longer than happiness does. 🤍

Save this if you need the reminder or share it with someone who might need to hear it too.

Dolly Parton has always been more than country music. She’s been warmth, humor, resilience, generosity, and a reminder that you can stay soft without making yourself small. 🤍

There’s something powerful about a woman who built an incredible life while still leading with kindness, staying true to herself, and making other people feel seen.

Her legacy is such a good reminder: being kind doesn’t mean being weak, and being strong doesn’t mean losing your softness.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🕊️🤍 Your impact will live on far beyond the music.

You don’t need a PowerPoint presentation, 17 examples, and a closing argument to justify your boundary. 😭

Sometimes they understand exactly what you’re saying.

They just don’t like that your boundary means they no longer get the same access to you.

You’re allowed to stop explaining. ❤️

Follow for more reminders about boundaries, anxiety, and unlearning people-pleasing.

Sometimes being “too sensitive” was really just being really good at invalidating your own feelings.

“Maybe I’m overreacting.”
“They probably didn’t mean it.”
“It’s not worth bringing up.”

But something doesn’t have to be intentional to hurt you. And being hurt doesn’t mean you’re dramatic, it means something mattered to you.

You’re allowed to notice what hurts without immediately talking yourself out of it. 🤍

Being able to handle everything on your own doesn’t mean you should always have to. 💛

Sometimes “I’ll just do it myself” sounds like independence, but underneath it can be: I don’t want to bother anyone. I don’t want to be disappointed. It’s easier if I just handle it.

There’s a big difference between “I can do this myself” and “I have to do this myself.”

Which one sounds more like you? 👀
