Glo Smoothie Co is sponsoring a 5k fun run/walk out of Glo Smoothie Co 15 E Genesee St., Auburn with Ty’s Run Club (Tyler McKeen) and SPECIAL GUEST: The running DJ, DJ THRESHOLD (Thomas Giannettino)

💕Glo Smoothie Co. will be providing coffee and electrolytes prior to the event and will be providing FREE SMOOTHIES to all registered participants at the conclusion of the event! 💕

🚪The doors open at 8:00 am. The run/walk begins at 9:00 am. The event will start at Glo Smoothie Co. and will proceed east down E Genesee St. to the beautiful Hoopes Park, around the loop, and back to Glo Smoothie Co.

✨This event is FREE ✨
🎟️ However; you must be registered and possess an entry ticket. This is a private event and the cafe will not be open to the public. Spots are limited to 30 participants. Register early to claim your spot! 🎟️

✨💕APPRECIATION POST 💕✨

These first two weeks have been amazing ✨ The support and love shown by the community has been beyond our wildest expectations 💕 We are working behind the scenes tirelessly to make adjustments, improve efficiency, and forecast inventory flow.
Saturday we put out 253 orders 🥳 On that’s over 25 orders and hour. The average order takes approximately 4 to 5 minutes to complete. Every item is handcrafted to order and each ingredient is meticulously measured to the gram.

Saturday really challenged our team in the best way. It allowed the owners to really fine tune the process as they observed situations arise under pressure. We ran into everything from 2+ hour pre-order sale wait times, customers not finding the estimated pickup times on the app and coming in early for orders, a DoorDash driver take an in house order in error, running out of several products and menu items early and having to restock on the fly. It was great, and it will get even better.

✨All of your love that you shared on Instagram and Facebook has been amazing and the Google reviews are so greatly appreciated. You are turning us, and Auburn into a destination location for Glo Smoothie Co ☺️💕

We had two things happen that really challenged us today.

First, we cannot believe that we are only through day two! Your support has been amazing 💕

The technical; our POS system was not allowing us to take orders for over an hour before that was corrected.

The love; we took over a hundred orders on day 1. We based what fresh organic produce to purchase for day 2 based on our day 1 sales. Our amazing supporters arrived in droves first thing day two and we ran out of supplies by 11:30 am! Yeah, we can’t believe it either. We hustled, restocked, and reset.

These two obstacles caused us to have to temporarily close for 2 hours mid day. We sincerely apologize to those who arrived to find a “sorry, temporarily closed. Re-opening soon” sign in the window.

We’ve learned, we adjusted, and we’re ready to go full swing again tomorrow.

The conditions were very wet adding to the challenge.

Anthony - 1st place in his category - Level III 30-39, 21 miles with 35lbs and 1st place in Level III with 35lbs all age groups
