What a full and memorable week it was! I had the opportunity to attend and present at the annual conference hosted by the Florida Family Child Care Home Association, reconnect with an old friend, and watch my supervisor inspire the crowd as a keynote speaker.

I had the honor of presenting on playful manipulatives and the important role fine motor experiences play in early childhood education. Through hands-on play stations, educators were able to actively engage, explore, and experience firsthand how purposeful play supports children's development, learning, creativity, and school readiness.

From sleepless nights, long days, unexpected weather, pool time, and even sneaking away to catch the new Toy Story 5 movie, this trip was definitely one for the books! Every conference brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with passionate educators who are making a difference in the lives of young children every single day.

It is always an honor and privilege to share my knowledge and experiences with fellow educators so they can continue nurturing, inspiring, and growing the minds of the children they serve. Thank you, FFCCHA, for welcoming me and providing such an incredible experience. I am grateful for the opportunity and already looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2028! 💙📚✨

Late night creation 🌙✨

I couldn’t fall asleep listening to the frogs croaking and the chuck-will’s-widow calling… so I leaned into the moment and created 🌿♻️

A brand new recycling activity PDF + an interactive sorting activity using recycled cardboard! Such a simple way to turn everyday materials into meaningful, hands-on learning for our upcoming Earth Day celebration 🌎💚

I love how nature inspires even the quietest moments into something creative and purposeful.

Nature class teacher here… learned a new skill today! 😂✨

I finally figured out how to use a cardboard cutter — and wow, what a game changer! I turned recycled boxes into bug-themed mats to spark loose parts play 🐞🐜

There’s something so special about transforming simple materials into meaningful play experiences. I truly love preparing these little invitations to play and watching my learners explore, create, and engage 💛🌿

Stepping into a new season with so much excitement and intention 🌿✨

I’m beyond ready to begin this journey as a Nature Class Homeschool Enrichment Educator—where learning meets the outdoors, curiosity leads the way, and childhood is honored in its most natural form.

This opportunity allows me to continue growing within the homeschool and education community, something that is so close to my heart. With my current experience in early childhood education, paired with my own journey as a homeschool mom, I’m passionate about creating meaningful, enriching experiences for both children and their families.

What an incredible journey this has been ✨

Over the past 10 sessions, I had the privilege of guiding a dedicated group of educators through a mindfulness journey aligned with Yogapalooza—exploring meaningful strategies to support not only the children in their care, but themselves as well.

In our final session, we came full circle—revisiting Yogapalooza practices and engaging in intentional mindfulness experiences designed just for early childhood educators. It was a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect… to who they are, their purpose, and the impact they make every single day. 💛

Because when educators feel grounded, empowered, and seen—they show up even stronger for the children they serve.

So grateful for this group and this experience. This is the work that fills my cup. 🌿

Such a fun and inspiring Author Study training centered around the work of Eric Carle! 🐛🎨

Educators rolled up their sleeves and got creative as they designed hands-on learning activities inspired by Eric Carle’s beloved books—each one intentionally aligned to support key developmental skills in the classroom.

From literacy-rich storytelling extensions to playful art and fine motor experiences, it was amazing to see how these timeless stories can come to life through meaningful, child-centered learning.

There’s nothing better than empowering teachers with ideas they can take back and implement right away! 💛

Still feeling so grateful after presenting at the Early Learning Coalition of Lake County’s Annual Early Childhood Conference! ✨

We had such an engaging session where we took a deep dive into fine motor development—exploring hands-on, meaningful activities that truly support and strengthen children’s skills in fun and intentional ways.

There’s nothing more rewarding than connecting with fellow educators, sharing knowledge, and learning from one another to better support the children we serve every day.

Grateful. Honored. Inspired. 🌱✨

This evening I had the incredible privilege of serving as a Professional Panel guest speaker for the Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship Program, hosted by Instructor Katie Chefero.

Prior to the session, students submitted anonymous questions about topics they were eager to learn more about — from furthering their education and utilizing the T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship, to exploring career pathways in early childhood education, classroom behavior management strategies, leadership journeys, and my experiences as a preschool teacher and center director.

It was such a meaningful experience to share my personal story, lessons learned along the way, and the many training opportunities, resources, and supports available through the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando.

Returning as a distinguished graduate of Fred K. Marchman Technical College made this moment especially powerful. Seeing future educators step into their purpose reminded me why I am so passionate about this work.

Thank you to Ms. Chefero for intentionally creating authentic learning opportunities for students, and for the warm welcome. Investing in the next generation of early childhood professionals is both a responsibility and a privilege I hold close to my heart. 💛

The future of early learning is bright.
