Marillac Residence was full of team spirit this week during our annual Mandatory Fair!

This year’s theme, “Champions of Care,” brought a fun World Cup-inspired atmosphere to the day, complete with festive decorations, raffle prizes, food, drinks, and plenty of smiles.

It was a great opportunity for staff to come together, complete important annual training, and celebrate the teamwork, dedication, and compassion that make our community so special.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize the event and to all of our Marillac team members for being true Champions of Care.

We are excited to share that Marillac Residence has a brand-new vehicle to support both medical appointments and recreational outings for our residents.

This new car will help provide safe, comfortable, and reliable transportation, making it easier for residents to get where they need to go and enjoy more opportunities out in the community.

From important medical visits to fun local outings, we look forward to all the places this new vehicle will take us!

Behind every great community is a dedicated maintenance team.

At Marillac Residence, we are grateful for the hardworking maintenance staff who keep our building safe, comfortable, and welcoming every day. From repairing equipment and maintaining beautiful grounds to responding quickly when help is needed, their efforts often happen behind the scenes but make a tremendous difference in the lives of our residents and staff.

Thank you for your dedication, skill, and commitment to making Marillac Residence feel like home. We appreciate all that you do!

A beautiful symbol of hope, unity, and reflection now stands at Marillac Residence.

Inspired by the Season of Creation’s theme, “Peace with Creation,” our Peace Pole project began last fall as an invitation to explore what peace means in our daily lives. Peace Poles are internationally recognized monuments bearing the message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” serving as reminders of our shared commitment to harmony, compassion, and understanding.

Residents, staff, and members of our community came together to bring this project to life. The poles were lovingly painted by residents with the guidance of Sister Aileen and students from Ursuline Academy, creating a meaningful intergenerational collaboration.

Now proudly installed on our campus, these Peace Poles serve as a daily reminder to nurture peace within ourselves, with one another, and with the world around us.

Celebrating our June birthdays at Marillac Residence!

Residents enjoyed a special birthday meal prepared by our Executive Chef, Allen, who helped make the day extra memorable with a delicious menu and festive celebration. We are grateful for the care and creativity he brings to every meal, and our residents were thrilled to celebrate together with great food and great company.

Happy Birthday to all of our June birthday residents! We wish you a wonderful year ahead.

What a wonderful afternoon at Elizabeth Seton Residence and Marillac Residence!

Residents enjoyed a summer BBQ cookout and concert in the courtyard featuring the always-entertaining Dave Andrews. The afternoon was filled with great music, delicious food, sunshine, and plenty of smiles as residents gathered together to sing along, socialize, and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event such a success and to Dave Andrews for providing a fantastic performance. We love seeing our residents come together to create lasting memories and enjoy all that summer has to offer.

We were fortunate to have these remarkable young women complete their senior service projects at Marillac Residence, where they shared their time, compassion, and enthusiasm with our residents and staff.
