September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

In the fire service, EMS, and law enforcement, more of our own are lost to su***de each year than in the line of duty. That is not a statistic to scroll past. It is a reason to check in, speak up, and reach out. If you are carrying more than you can hold, you do not have to carry it alone. Call or text 988 any time, day or night.

This Labor Day, we are thinking about the people whose work holds everything else up.

The union tradesmen and women who build and power our communities. The firefighters, police officers, EMS crews, and dispatchers who answer the call no matter what the calendar says.

So today we say thank you. To the union workforce and to every first responder who serves their community, you carry the weight so others do not have to. We are proud to stand beside you, today and every day.

This is a milestone moment for our team and for the people we serve. With Dr. Marriott on board, we are expanding our capacity to do what we care about most. Bridging gaps in care.
