Big changes are underway at Physiologic Academy.
Over the past several months, we’ve spent a great deal of time evaluating the future of our organization, our mission, and where we can make the greatest impact within the massage therapy industry.
As we move forward, we have made the decision to shift our focus away from launching a full massage therapy school in Des Moines. Instead, Physiologic Academy will be concentrating on providing high-level continuing education for massage therapists throughout the Midwest.
We are currently in the process of becoming an approved continuing education provider through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). This is an important next step in our mission to provide science-based, clinically focused education for therapists who want to advance beyond traditional approaches.

• Clinical Kinesiology & Movement Education
• Business Development for Massage Therapists
• Advanced Sports Massage & Recovery Techniques
Our vision has always been centered around:
• Sports bodywork
• Kinesiology and movement education
• Clinical application and assessment
• Evidence-based treatment approaches
• Real-world business development for therapists
This next chapter will allow us to:
• Host advanced continuing education seminars and workshops
• Expand our sports bodywork and clinical education programs
• Collaborate with gyms, strength facilities, and healthcare professionals
• Continue building a strong Midwest community of therapists focused on growth, skill development, and mastery
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported the Academy vision so far. This is not the end of the mission — it is simply a strategic evolution of it.
