Excited to share my first blog for Escapees RV Club!
When I first got on the road in '19, I was decompressing from the loss of my husband and his decade-long illness. I wanted to travel, be alone...find my center again. I found I loved traveling solo and cherished this new freedom I had.
After traveling by myself for 4 years and coming out of the fog of the last 10, I joined the Xscapers. And, even though it took me some time to embrace a community again, I found I really enjoyed the connections I was making; the women I met were (are!) badasses and the events/gatherings have made me feel a part of something that I had been resisting for years in fear of losing again.

I've learned so much from this club and the members/friends I've made here and grateful for the opportunity to share this with you!
As humans, we crave connection, conversation, and community. This can look different for each of us, yet the premise is the same; we need each other.
