Can we make it 3 years in a row? 🥹💖

For the past TWO years, you guys have helped vote me into Natural Nutmeg Magazine's 10 Best in CT- and voting is officially open for a limited time.

And yes... I'm asking for your help again. 🙏

It's something I've been incredibly grateful for- not simply because it's wonderful to be recognized, but because it helps more people discover practitioners who look beyond individual symptoms and take the time to understand the bigger picture.

And now it's that time again.

Natural Nutmeg Magazine's Reader's Choice Awards are open, and I'd be so grateful for your vote again this year.

It's really simple:
#3 Functional Medicine/Integrative Practitioner

Just write in:
Dr. Beata Harasim

That's it 💖

You don't have to live in Connecticut to vote, and it only takes a minute.

>>> https://bit.ly/NN10Best2026

For more than two decades, I've believed that our symptoms are telling us something and that understanding the bigger picture matters. Being recognized for doing this work I care so deeply about has meant more to me than I can say.

I'd be honored to have your support in making it three.

Thank you for being here, for supporting my work, and for helping more people discover a different way of thinking about their health.

To your radiant health,
💖 Dr. Beata "Connecting the Dots" Harasim

P.S. While you're there, don't forget to vote for the other holistic practitioners and businesses you love too. Supporting the people doing meaningful work in our communities matters.

For so much of my life, I thought being responsible was one of my greatest strengths.

I was dependable. I worked hard. I figured things out. I carried a lot.

And I rarely asked for help.

But somewhere along the way, I realized something.

Responsibility had quietly become part of my identity.

I wasn't just a responsible person.

I believed I always had to be the one holding everything together.

The one who could handle it. The one who would figure it out.

Looking back, I can see how much my body was carrying that identity too.

Because identities shape the way we live.

They shape the choices we make. The relationships we stay in. The burdens we carry. The amount of rest we allow ourselves. The amount of support available to us.

Whether we feel like we have to carry everything alone.

Healing has taught me that I can still be a deeply responsible woman...

Without making responsibility my identity.

I can rest.

I can experience joy.

I'm learning that I wasn't meant to carry everything alone.

I'm beginning to believe that a life with more support, more peace, and more safety is possible.

And that doesn't make me less strong.

It makes me more whole.

I'm curious...

Has there ever been an identity you've realized you've outgrown?

"The strong one”

"The people pleaser”

"The perfectionist”

"The caregiver”

"The independent one”

I'd love to hear in the comments or send me a DM 💕

With love,
💖 Dr. Beata

Starting over might be the thing keeping you stuck...

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make isn't falling off track.

It's believing they have to start over.

A stressful week. A vacation. A birthday. A busy work season.

Life happens.

And suddenly they find themselves thinking:
"I blew it."
"I need to start over."
"I'll get back on track Monday."

But what if that's actually the thing keeping people stuck?

Because every time we believe we have to start over, we reinforce the idea that one imperfect day- or one imperfect week- erases all of our progress.

It doesn't.

One meal doesn't define your health. Neither does one missed workout. Or one busy week.

Lasting health isn't built by never getting off track.

It's built by learning how to return.

That shift may sound small, but I've seen it completely change the way people approach their health.

It's one of the ideas I talk about inside my updated masterclass, The Gap Between Knowing & Doing, because I believe it's one of the biggest reasons so many people stay stuck despite genuinely wanting to feel better.

If you've ever felt like you're constantly starting over, this masterclass is for you:

Here's to moving forward instead of starting over.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to make a decision when you're feeling inspired?

You listen to a podcast.
Read a book.
Attend a workshop.
Watch a masterclass.

And suddenly everything feels clear.

You decide:

- “I'm going to start eating better."

- “I'm going to prioritize sleep."

- “I'm finally going to take care of myself."

For a few days, maybe even a few weeks, things go well.

Then life happens.

A stressful week. A busy schedule. A family emergency. A vacation. An unexpected challenge.

And before long, you're back in old patterns wondering- What happened?

Most people assume they failed. But I don't think that's what happened at all.

I think many health changes don't stick because we're trying to create change at the level of behavior without creating change at the level of alignment.

We focus on:

• What to eat

• What supplements to take

• What routine to follow

• What habits to build

And while those things matter, they often aren't the whole story.

Because every action is connected to something deeper.

Your beliefs. Your priorities. Your identity. Your environment. Your emotional patterns.

Your vision for your life.

When those pieces are pulling in different directions, change feels hard.

You find yourself relying on motivation and willpower.

And eventually, motivation fades.

But when those pieces begin working together, something interesting happens.

The healthy choice starts feeling more natural.

Not because you've become more disciplined.

But because your actions are becoming more aligned with who you're becoming.

That's one of the biggest things I've learned after years of working with people who genuinely want to improve their health.

Lasting change isn't usually created by forcing yourself harder.

It's often created by creating greater alignment.

If this resonates with you, I recently put together a free masterclass called:

**The Gap Between Knowing & Doing: Why Health Changes Don't Stick**

Inside, I explore why so many health changes fail to last and what may actually be getting in the way.

You can watch it here:

What if you're not missing information?

It's a question I've been reflecting on a lot lately.

Because most people I talk to already know quite a bit about health.

They know they should eat better. Get more sleep. Move their body. Manage stress. Drink more water.

And yet many still find themselves feeling stuck.

Starting over. Losing momentum.

Wondering why lasting change feels so difficult.

If you've ever felt that way, you're not alone.

And you're not broken.

One of the biggest things I've learned after more than two decades in healthcare is that lasting health change rarely comes from collecting more information.

It often comes from understanding the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it consistently.

That's exactly what I explore inside my free masterclass:

**The Gap Between Knowing & Doing: Why Health Changes Don't Stick**

Inside you'll discover:

- Why information alone rarely creates transformation

- Some of the hidden factors that influence our choices and habits

- Why willpower often isn't the answer

- How greater alignment can make healthy choices feel more natural and sustainable

- A different way to think about lasting health change

When most people think about Father's Day gifts, they don't usually think about sleep, recovery, or nervous system support.

But honestly, those are some of the things that impact how we feel every single day.

That's one of the reasons grounding sheets made it into my Father's Day Guide this year.

If you're not familiar with grounding, the idea is simple: it helps reconnect the body to the earth's natural electrical charge, and these sheets are designed to help you do that while you sleep.

Many people use grounding to support better sleep, recovery, stress resilience, and overall wellbeing.

What I personally love is that it doesn't require another supplement, protocol, or item on your to-do list.

You put them on the bed.
You go to sleep.
That's it.

And unlike most gifts, the benefit isn't just for the person who receives them.

Anyone else sleeping in the bed gets to enjoy them too 😉.

That's especially appealing for the dads, husbands, grandfathers, and father figures who spend so much of their lives taking care of everyone else while rarely prioritizing themselves.

If you're still looking for a Father's Day gift idea, this is one of my favorites.

What I learned changed the way I approach healing forever-

There was a time when every symptom felt like bad news.

A positive lab result. A new flare. More anxiety. Another thing that seemed "wrong."

I remember looking at my autoimmune markers climbing and feeling terrified.

At the same time, I was trying to help my daughter through her own health challenges.

And honestly, my entire focus was on getting rid of symptoms.

Fix it. Make it stop. But somewhere along the way, something shifted.

I started noticing that symptoms weren't showing up randomly.

My anxiety wasn't random.
My daughter's reactions weren't random.
The inflammation wasn't random.

The body kept responding to stress, gut health, sleep, nourishment, nervous system state, and everything else we were asking it to adapt to.

That realization completely changed the way I approach healing.

Because instead of constantly asking: "How do I get rid of this symptom?"

I started asking: "Why is this symptom showing up in the first place?"

That question changed everything for me.

It ultimately helped me normalize my own autoimmune markers, improve my energy, and better understand what my daughter's body had been trying to communicate all along.

And honestly, it's still the question I ask every day when working with clients.

Not- What symptom do we fight next?

But- What pattern are we missing?

To your health,
💖 Dr. Beata "Symptoms are clues, not punishments" Harasim

P.S. If you've been trying to connect the dots between symptoms that don't seem related, that's exactly why I created the Root Cause Clarity Session. Sometimes a different perspective helps reveal patterns that have been hiding in plain sight. DM me for more details 💕

Food reactions are often more connected than people realize 💗

When someone develops eczema, reflux, digestive issues, food sensitivities, congestion, chronic inflammation, or other symptoms, it's easy to focus only on the food itself.

But over the years, both personally and professionally, I've found that food reactions are often part of a much bigger picture.

Gut health. Nervous system stress. Immune system patterns. Inflammation. Environmental triggers. Stress load.

And sometimes things that have been building quietly beneath the surface for a long time.

This is one of the reasons I don't believe in one-size-fits-all healing.

The goal isn't simply to remove more foods.

It's to better understand what the body may be communicating and why it's reacting in the first place.

In my latest blog, I share some of the patterns I commonly see behind food reactions and why healing often becomes clearer when we stop looking at symptoms in isolation.

📖 Read it here:

I'd love to hear from you:

Have you ever discovered that a food reaction was connected to something deeper than the food itself?
