You may be able to access preventative services with a licensed nutritionist through your insurance for FREE?

What qualifies as preventive?

Hypertension

High Cholesterol

Pre-Diabetes

Diabetes

Certain BMI’s (under or over)

That means you may not even have to pay a co-pay and get unlimited visits

For other conditions you can still see a nutritionist, but there may be a co-pay or costs towards your deductible. Every plan is different.

To see if your insurance will cover visits, call the number on the back of your card and ask if CPT codes 97802 and 97803 are covered and for how many visits.
