Westchester Blood Program Westchester Blood Program is a community organization hosting quarterly blood drives in Westchester, Illinois.

In conjunction with Vitalant (FKA LifeSource), Westchester Blood Program hosts quarterly blood drives in Westchester, Illinois. Since its inception in June 1974, WBP has collected more than 25,000 units of blood from Westchester residents and donors throughout Chicagoland.

JANUARY IS NATIONAL BLOOD DONOR MONTH!

Due to holiday celebrations, inclement weather and illness, the winter months are often a time of reduced donations and an increased risk for blood shortages. National Blood Donor Month celebrates blood donors and reminds people of the importance of donating blood during this critical time.
