🌟 PATIENT TESTIMONIAL🌟: “I cannot recommend this functional neurology practice enough. When I came in, I was dealing with dysautonomia that completely impacted my daily life. I had seen multiple providers and felt stuck with no real answers. Through Dr Coppus’ compassion, knowledge, individualized care, and genuine commitment to getting to the root cause, I’ve made progress I didn’t think was possible. I feel like I have my life back. He is compassionate, thorough, and attentive. If you are struggling with any POTS or dysautonomia symptoms and feel like nothing else has worked, this place is worth it. You will not regret your decision to go here.” -L.J.

🌟 PATIENT TESTIMONIAL🌟: “Dr. Coppus was literally the answer to our prayers for our daughter’s unexplained syncope. He examined her thoroughly, looked at the whole picture, and was able to treat her while all of the other specialists we’d seen basically had given up. Dr. Coppus cares about his patients and is curious to solve any issues and help improve conditions with a persistent and determined approach. He does NOT give up on people and his strong faith also drew us to his practice. He is doing this to HELP people and it is evident. We drove 2 hours each way to see him for these appointments and it was worth it. Thank you for helping our daughter get her life back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND without any hesitation.” -L.B.

Supporting the brain means supporting the nervous system, too. 🧠

At Delta Neuro Health, we use a variety of tools to help support the nervous system and complement each patient’s individualized functional neurology program.

One tool we may incorporate is the Dolphin Neurostim Professional, a gentle, non-invasive microcurrent device designed to stimulate specific points and support pain and stress management. Dolphin Neurostim

For the right patient, this type of stimulation may be used as part of a broader plan to help address symptoms such as:

✨ Headaches and migraines
✨ Muscle tension and pain
✨ Stress and nervous-system overactivation
✨ Sleep difficulties
✨ Post-concussion symptoms
✨ Sensory sensitivity
✨ Neurological discomfort and tension

The goal isn’t simply to treat a symptom in isolation. Functional neurology looks at how the brain, nervous system, sensory systems, movement, and body are working together, and treatment is individualized from there.

For some patients, gentle stimulation can be one piece of that bigger picture.

Your nervous system is constantly receiving signals. The right input can matter.

🌟 PATIENT TESTIMONIAL🌟: “Dr. Joe and the Delta Neuro Health team were a huge help in getting me through my PCS. After suffering from two concussions over the last year, I was left with a debilitating amount of brain fog, memory and concentration issues along with a host of other nervous system and gut dysfunctions. I saw Dr. Joe after combinations of different diets, exercise and physical therapies failed to get rid of any of my symptoms and give me any relief. After only a few weeks of treatment and home exercises, my headaches and neck pain decreased significantly. My cognitive function and overall bodily health also started to improve over the course of the first month to where I was able to concentrate, relax and feel more like myself for the first time in over a year.

Dr. Joe and his team were incredibly helpful and patient throughout this process. They understand the cellular/biomechanical aspects of a concussion as well as the psychological and emotional piece of things-which is equally as important in recovery. Their approach is very tailored and I never once felt rushed or like I was getting a cookie-cutter treatment.

I would recommend DNH to anyone experiencing health challenges from a concussion, regardless of the severity or duration of symptoms. I thank God everyday for these folks!” - C.J.

Did you know babies are born with automatic movement patterns that help them feed, move, and respond to their environment?

These are called primitive reflexes.

As the brain and nervous system mature, many of these reflexes naturally become less prominent as a child develops more purposeful control over movement.

But what happens when certain reflexes remain present beyond the expected developmental period?

At Delta Neuro Health, primitive reflex testing can be one piece of a larger neurological and developmental assessment. We may look at reflexes alongside movement, balance, coordination, sensory processing, attention, and everyday function.

The goal isn’t simply to “get rid of a reflex.” It’s to better understand how the nervous system is functioning and identify ways to support a child’s movement, regulation, coordination, and development.

Curious about primitive reflexes and your child’s development? Read our latest blog by Dr. Carly Carafa.
