Grief affects every family member differently, and supporting one another through loss can feel challenging at times. Our monthly Family Grief Support Group provides a caring and supportive space where children and caregivers can come together for understanding, connection, and encouragement.

On Wednesday, June 10, children ages 6–12 will participate in interactive activities and guided discussions designed to help them express emotions, strengthen coping skills, and feel supported in their grief journey. While children meet together, caregivers will gather separately to connect with others, share experiences, and receive guidance on supporting both their children and themselves through grief.

This group is created to offer families a sense of community, support, and reassurance that they do not have to navigate grief alone.

Registration is required for each session you wish to attend. We look forward to welcoming your family. Register here: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/-4o5vnYxl9XCPTrK8n-bxQ

Today may be the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month, but that doesn’t mean caring for your mental health stops here.

Rest, asking for help, setting boundaries, and checking in with yourself are important every day of the year. Your mental health deserves attention not just in May, but always.

Take care of your mind with the same compassion and consistency you give to the people around you. You are worthy of support, care, and hope.

Grief shows up differently for everyone. Some reactions may feel unexpected, overwhelming, or difficult to explain, while others may come and go without warning. You may experience a wide range of emotions, changes in routines, or moments where everyday tasks feel harder than usual.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no timeline for how loss should affect someone. Every person’s experience is unique, and each response deserves patience and compassion. No matter where you are in your journey, give yourself permission to take things one day at a time.

No matter what your mind may tell you in your hardest moments, you are loved, valued, and worthy of care.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that you do not have to carry everything alone. There is comfort in connection, courage in asking for support, and hope even on the days that feel overwhelming. Your story matters, your feelings matter, and your presence in this world matters.

Take time to care for yourself, check in on those around you, and remember, you are never alone.

Mental Health Monday!

Summer is almost here, bringing brighter days, fresh starts, and new routines. As schedules change and life speeds up, don’t forget to take care of yourself along the way.

Mental health matters in every season. Whether that means taking a walk outside, spending time with people who make you feel supported, setting boundaries, or simply allowing yourself time to rest, small moments of care can make a big difference.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, remember that it’s okay to ask for help, okay to slow down, and okay to put your well-being first. You deserve support, compassion, and care.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re sharing 6 reminders for anyone navigating the loss of a loved one. Grief can impact every part of our mental and emotional well-being, and it’s important to remember that there is no “right” way to grieve.

As you move through your journey, give yourself permission to feel, to rest, to ask for support, and to take things one day at a time. You are not alone, and your grief deserves compassion and care.
