Happy National Intern Day!

Today, we’re celebrating and thanking our incredible interns, Bailey, Brittany, and Janet, for the time, compassion, and dedication they bring to Cornerstone of Hope.

All three are pursuing their master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as they continue preparing for meaningful careers supporting others. Janet serves at our Columbus office, while Bailey and Brittany support our Cleveland office.

Their willingness to learn, grow, and walk alongside individuals and families navigating grief makes a meaningful difference. We are so grateful to have each of them as part of the Cornerstone of Hope team!

Please join us in celebrating Bailey, Brittany, and Janet and thanking them for the impact they make each day!

Grief impacts every member of the family in unique ways, and navigating loss together can be both challenging and overwhelming. Our monthly family nights offer a compassionate space where children and caregivers can find connection, understanding, and support alongside others who are grieving.

On Wednesday, August 12th, children ages 6–12 will participate in age-appropriate activities and guided conversations that encourage emotional expression, build coping skills, and foster a sense of belonging. At the same time, caregivers will meet separately to share experiences, gain support, and explore ways to care for themselves while helping their children through grief.

Together, these groups provide families with a supportive community and the reassurance that they do not have to face grief alone.

Registration is required for each session you wish to attend. We look forward to welcoming your family. Register here: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/-4o5vnYxl9XCPTrK8n-bxQ

Due to the current air quality alerts caused by wildfire smoke, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tomorrow's ceremony out of concern for the health and safety of our families, volunteers, staff, and community members.

We know how meaningful this event is, and we understand this news may be disappointing. Please know that this decision was made with great care.

At this time, we do not have a new date scheduled. We are closely monitoring conditions and will communicate with all registered participants as soon as a new date has been determined.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and flexibility. We look forward to gathering together when it is safe to do so to honor and remember our loved ones.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
