Too much fun in the water can sometimes lead to swimmer's ear!

Swimmer's ear occurs when water gets trapped in the ear canal, allowing bacteria to grow and cause infection.

🚩 Signs to watch for: • Ear pain • Itching • Redness • Ear drainage • Trouble hearing
🛡️ Prevent it by drying ears well after swimming and avoiding cotton swabs.

Keep the focus on fun this summer by protecting little ears! ☀️🏊

🌻🤧 Allergy Season Is Sneaking Up Again! 🤧🌻

If your child struggles with sneezing, itchy eyes, congestion, or a constant runny nose every fall, now is the perfect time to get ahead of allergy season.

✅ Consider starting allergy medications as recommended by your pediatrician: • Zyrtec® (cetirizine) • Flonase® (fluticasone nasal spray)

✅ Use nasal saline daily to help rinse pollen and allergens from little noses.

✅ Keep pollen outside: • Change clothes after outdoor play • Wash hands and faces when coming inside • Consider showering before bedtime

✅ Keep indoor air clean: • Run an air purifier in bedrooms • Keep windows closed on high-pollen days

A little preparation now can mean more happy playtime and fewer sniffles later! 🍂💛

If this sounds familiar, congratulations... you've entered the young adult stage of parenting.

After years of hearing "I can do it myself," something funny happens. They move out, start adulting, and suddenly Mom becomes their most frequently contacted life consultant.

We love this stage because it's a reminder that the relationship has changed, but the connection hasn't.

They may not need help tying their shoes, packing their lunch, or checking for monsters under the bed anymore. But they still know exactly who to call when life gets complicated... or exciting... or confusing... or when they just need to hear a familiar voice.

❤️ One of the greatest joys of parenting is realizing that even when they've grown up, they'll always need their parents in some way.
