Meet the Department Monday! 💙

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on the Ultrasound Team at Elmore Community Hospital!

• Payton Patchel is our student ultrasound technologist. He graduates in December and will continue his journey with Ivy Creek as a registered technologist. We’re excited to watch him take this next step!

• Robin Bush has been part of Ivy Creek for seven years and is nationally registered in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast sonography.

• Aubrey Causey has been with Ivy Creek for two years and is nationally registered in abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular sonography.

Thank you, Payton, Robin, and Aubrey, for the care and dedication you bring to our patients and our hospital. We’re proud to have you on our team!

💙 WHY I CHOSE ECH AND WHY I CHOOSE TO STAY 💙

At Elmore Community Hospital, we believe what makes our hospital special isn’t just the services we provide …it’s the people who believe in them.

Today, we’re proud to share a heartfelt story from Krista, who leads our Sleep Disorders Center, about taking a chance, building something meaningful, and finding a place where teamwork truly makes a difference.

Three years ago, Krista sat down with Ivy Creek Healthcare CEO Mike Bruce, who shared a simple vision: he wanted to see the hospital’s struggling sleep program become successful.

Krista had the experience, knowledge, and determination to make it happen. What she hadn’t yet had was an opportunity to lead.

Mike took a chance on Krista, and Krista took a chance on ECH.

What followed wasn’t always easy. There were growing pains, changes to be made, relationships to build, and challenges to overcome. But through it all, Krista found something special a hospital full of people willing to listen, support one another, and work together toward a common goal.

Today, our Sleep Disorders Center has grown into a program Krista and the entire ECH team can be proud of, with improved technology, expanded services, and a renewed commitment to the patients we serve.

Recently, Krista had an opportunity to return to a larger healthcare organization. But she chose to stay.

Why? Because she believes in what we’ve built right here at Elmore Community Hospital.

As Krista so beautifully reminds us:

“Why travel to the city when we’re just as good, if not better because of our hometown feel? The patients aren’t a number but a name.”

That is what community healthcare is all about.

Krista, thank you for believing in ECH, for your dedication to our patients, and for reminding us that great things happen when people believe in one another.

We’re proud of what you’ve helped build, and we’re even prouder that you continue to choose ECH.

Pink with a purpose! 💗 This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re celebrating the compassionate breast imaging team at Elmore Community Hospital.
