The Root Cause Matters

Bandages cover symptoms.

Root cause care asks why those symptoms exist.

Instead of only asking,
"How do we stop the snoring?"

We ask,
"Why is this child struggling to breathe in the first place?"

That's the difference.

Check out the difference for yourself. Schedule a free evaluation today.

Don't miss our next Impact Series Networking Event!

Most people only think about their health when something hurts, breaks, or scares them. However, five of the pillars of lifestyle medicine — movement, nutrition, sleep, stress, and connection — are the upstream drivers of the majority of chronic disease.

Join us for this interactive Live Lab session where you’ll go through a 5-minute health audit using the same validated screening tools used in clinical research and Keystone Physicians Direct Primary Care. Everyone will leave with a real personal health score and one specific action they can start within 48 hours.

The evening will also include dedicated time for intentional networking, along with complimentary appetizers and wine.

Seats are limited—register today at the link in the first comment.

A child can spend plenty of hours in bed and still wake up unrefreshed. Poor sleep may make focus, impulsivity, irritability, and emotional regulation harder, especially when attention concerns occur alongside snoring, mouth breathing, restless sleep, or daytime fatigue.

Sleep does not explain every case of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, but it deserves a place in the conversation. Learn more at MyoWayCenters.com.

If your child always seems congested and breathes through their mouth, it may be worth looking beyond the idea that it is simply a habit. Allergies, enlarged tonsils or adenoids, nasal obstruction, and established breathing patterns can all make nasal breathing more difficult.

Telling a child to close their mouth does not explain why nasal breathing feels difficult in the first place. If chronic congestion and mouth breathing are part of your child’s everyday life, MyoWay Centers for Kids can help you better understand the bigger picture through a free consultation.

Olivia used to say, “I am always so tired.” Her family was also seeing nightly snoring, frequent waking, headaches, and daytime fatigue. By her fourth MyoWay therapy session, her mom was describing a very different experience, with more restful sleep, rare nighttime waking, and much better daytime energy.

Her progress also came with visible changes in her palate, arches, bite, and jaw development. Every child is different, but when sleep, breathing, and development are all telling the same story, it may be worth looking deeper.

Ellie came to MyoWay Centers for Kids relying primarily on a feeding tube, struggling with oral motor function, shallow breathing, disrupted sleep, and limited endurance. Today, her family is seeing meaningful changes in everyday life, from drinking smoothies and eating more textured foods to breathing more deeply and keeping up on family hikes. Ellie’s story is a powerful reminder of what can become possible when breathing, oral function, feeding, and development are supported together.
