Hey, you. The one who’s been doing 14 things and forgot to eat. 😂

This is your lunch reminder.

It doesn’t have to be a perfect meal. It doesn’t even have to be lunch. Grab a snack, make a protein shake, eat some leftovers… whatever is easy.

Because I know how quickly I can get wrapped up in something and suddenly realize I haven’t eaten all day.

So from one late-diagnosed ADHDer to another: please go put something in your body. 💛

Did you eat yet?

People think I’m trying to prove I can carry everything in one trip…

Nope. 😅

My ADHD brain knows that if I leave one bag in the car, there’s a very good chance I’ll forget it exists until tomorrow.

Please tell me I’m not the only one. 😂💛

I got a matching cup for my beach chair…

And my brain acted like I won the lottery. 😂

One thing I’ve noticed about my ADHD is that little bits of novelty can make an ordinary day feel way more exciting.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who gets ridiculously excited over something this small. 🏖️💛

Nobody told me that hormones could change the way my ADHD feels.

Some days my brain is calm. Other days it feels like I’m swimming against the tide.

For me, perimenopause has made my ADHD feel less predictable, and finally understanding that has helped me give myself a little more grace.

Have you noticed your ADHD changing as you’ve gotten older?

I’m genuinely curious—if you’ve struggled with this too, what’s helped you?

I spent years thinking I needed more motivation.

What I actually needed… was another person in the room.

It’s called body doubling, and for me, it’s one of the most helpful ADHD strategies I’ve found. They don’t have to clean. They don’t have to help. Sometimes just having another person nearby makes it easier for me to start and stay on task.

It doesn’t work for everyone, but it’s been a game changer for me.

💛 Have you ever tried body doubling?

Did anyone else collect stickers but refuse to use them because you were waiting for the perfect place to put them?

I always thought I’d find the perfect notebook, water bottle, or folder… and somehow I never did. 😅

Looking back, it makes me wonder how much of that was perfectionism and how much was my ADHD.

Tell me I wasn’t the only one. 💛

I may have accidentally turned my hair into my newest ADHD hyperfixation. 😅

After what feels like a hundred tweaks, I think I’m finally happy with the color… but now I’m debating whether to add money pieces or leave it exactly as it is.

What do you think—money pieces or no money pieces? 💇🏼‍♀️✨

For years, I thought I just needed to “try harder.”

Now I know that my environment has a huge impact on how well I can focus. Sometimes all it takes is moving outside with my laptop, getting some fresh air, and letting my brain reset.

Working with my ADHD instead of against it has made all the difference. 💜

What’s one thing that helps you get unstuck?

ADHD + PMDD is… an experience. 😅

Some days, my internal monologue deserves an award for staying internal.

If you know, you know. 💛

Does anyone else feel like their ADHD symptoms get so much harder during PMDD?
