Hearty congratulations to our very own St. Joseph of the Pines Life Plan Community in Southern Pines, NC on their sixth consecutive "Best of the Pines" recognition! Each year, The Pilot -- Moore County's print newspaper -- hosts this annual awards event. Last evening, St. Joseph of the Pines received "Best Retirement/Senior Living" honors and first place in the "seniors" category for "Best Place to Give Your Time and Money." All of us throughout Trinity Health Senior Communities are cheering you on, Team SJP!

Trinity Health Senior Communities is proud to announce that one of its Michigan leaders -- Colette Belcourt, executive director at Bellbrook in Rochester Hills -- has been selected as a trainer for the September 22 Michigan Joint Provider Surveyor Training themed "Protecting Vulnerable Populations; Abuse Prevention & Ethical Compliance." Colette will serve as a presenter for the discussion of "Preventing Resident-to-Resident Abuse." This module will provide professional caregivers with critical information about federal regulatory requirements, effective strategies and lessons learned in preventing resident-to-resident abuse in long-term care settings.
A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Colette has overseen Bellbrook's operations for two years. She excels in creating exceptional resident and colleague experiences at the Rochester Hills Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Short-Term Rehabilitation community. Colette holds an M.B.A. in healthcare administration. We are grateful that The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs has recognized her expertise and given her the ability to share it in a plenary session that will benefit older adults and those who serve them in senior living and care settings.
