Are you curious what it’s like to go to an appointment with a pelvic floor therapist?

As someone who has had chronic back pain, adjustments and massages etc only provide temporary relief but my pelvic floor PT is the only thing that has provided real lasting change. It’s a lifestyle, people!

I talk to a lot of pregnant and postpartum clients who have back pain, pelvic pain, painful in*******se, leaking, etc and they are curious about going to pelvic floor PT but a little nervous about what it’s like. Squeaked into the hospital just in time for one of the fastest active labors ever 😉 We were blessed to work with one of the loveliest families of all time for both of their beautiful births a couple years apart. Katie and I were jumping up and down when we got the news of the pregnancy! We were all especially thankful for a spontaneous labor and quick unmedicated delivery after a previous induction. These folks are just a delight and we’ll miss them 🫶🏻 Thank you for the privilege of sharing your journey!

Dr Sara is a prenatal and pediatric chiropractor who uses thermal scanning technology to see exactly where you need to be adjusted to help calm the nervous system, helping kids who are anxious, hyperactive, not sleeping or eating well, and more. My son is way more relaxed and less anxious after working with Dr Sara and we also have quite a few of our pregnant clients who enjoy going to her for prenatal adjustments and acupuncture as well! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, especially this sweet, beautiful new mom of an amazing baby girl! She made it all the way until her due date when her water broke! She was so strong and gracious during labor, knowing it was all to bring her little girl earthside. Mary and I were blessed to get to know this wonderful family and be a part of their pregnancy and birth support system.

Cupping…I love to hate it, it hurts so bad but my back feels so much better afterwards 🤣 just get it over with so we can spend the rest of the appointment yapping!

If you have lower back pain like I did, you must go to Kansas Pelvic Health and Wellness and get that taken care of! It’s not just for peeing when you sneeze! (And if that is happening to you, you extra need to go!) Not a paid advertisement, just a good friend who literally helped me with my pain more in a few months than anything else did in years and I want all my pregnant and postpartum clients to be aware of the resource!
