Psalm 88 is the darkest and most desolate lament in the Bible. Written by Heman the Ezrahite, it is the only psalm that does not offer a concluding note of hope, rescue, or praise, ending instead with the stark statement: "Darkness is my closest friend." 

BUT this IS what Christ suffered so we would not have to.... It was a HUGE cost and He did it so we would be spared to live with HIM now and ALWAYS 🙌

Don't let the enemy, the liar, the deceiver confuse this truth. It is your PAID IN FULL right to receive complete SHALOM peace, ONENESS, FULL HEALING and FULL FORGIVENESS, redemption and promise EVERYDAY because this was already finished on the Cross for you and for me 🙌

It has been so steaming HOT outside this summer! Went to a dance intensive for Selah and got to enjoy the hotel gym while she trained... WIN-WIN!!!

It's not always easy to stretch outside of our comfort zones... but every time we do, it makes us STRONGER!

Yes... I LOVE every single moment of this year!!! The blessing of supporting my daughter as she grows more confident, stronger, and braver is worth every hour worked in fundraising, every mile driven to practice, every weekend committed to conventions and competitions✨️

We had so much fun at Dr. Philips Performing Arts tonight! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

A few months ago, my daughter came to me and shared a playlist of a musical she was very excited about... as a former history teacher, the songs blew me away! They were beyond witty, insightful, bold, and poignant (though some are a bit mature and require discernment and insightful understanding)...

The LIVE performance was even BETTER than I expected! 👏👏👏✨️✨️

I am so happy that these girls all loved Six as much as my daughter did!

A little bit of salt and light with one of my favorite friends!

Most of her time is lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo... When she comes back to the states to visit friends and family, we like to take some time to float in nature and chill.

Today's adventure brought us through Crystal River all the way out to the Gulf of Mexico! Along the way we were visited by some curious otters and then got to paddle past my daughter's school as the Environmental Science class was heading out on a kayak adventure together!

It's been a while since I've shared my practice.

Yes, I still teach three yoga classes a week in a private membership community and I work with therapy clients in one-on-one and small group sessions.

You may have noticed (or perhaps you hadn't) that I had taken an extended break from social media these past couple of years in an intentional effort to be more present.

During this time, I have focused on digging deeper into interpersonal relationships with friends and family.

After my recent missions trip to Cambodia, I have felt a pulling back to the many beautiful connections I have made with my friends across the USA and throughout the world.

I want you all to know that I love you very much and am so thankful that you continue to bring your light and hope and encouragement into this world 🌎 🌍🌏

Please keep shining hope and grace. This world needs your ❤️ to stay bright and beautiful!
