Finally posting some India photos after a few weeks back home. I think it took me so long to post because the entire experience was overwhelming and I’m still processing! I’ve never been to a place that’s so chaotic, so dirty yet so beautiful, so rich and impoverished, and so full of contradictions - or a place where I’ve been so outside of my comfort zone. My friend Ali told me “India will change you”. I didn’t believe him but he was completely right. It has shifted my perspective on so many things. Also, I never expected I’d have to circumnavigate the globe to get home but we were lucky to stay out of the war zone in the Middle East and I got to check another continent off my list.

I had the opportunity to go to a fantastic educational event by at their Sulayom campus in Costa Rica! I learned about the newest breast implant technology, watched live surgery, and got to see the whole manufacturing process from start to finish. I can’t wait to try these new ergonomic biocompatible implants. I was impressed with all of the innovative devices they have in the pipeline - including stretchy injectable implants! How cool is that??

Small changes can have a big impact on the way you look and feel. This patient was unhappy with heaviness around the jawline and wanted a more snatched appearance. I performed liposuction under the chin, micro-liposuction of the jowls, and buccal fat pad reduction. These are small procedures with an easy recovery and work well for younger patients with good skin tone. I saw this patient’s confidence soar at the post-op visit today!
